One year ago today Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum were married in a fairytale wedding in Malibu, California surrounded by hundreds of family and friends. I want to say…

At the top of this post is cute photo I took of the couple in January when Jenna came to visit Chan at the ‘Dear John‘ press junket at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. In case you missed it, People.com just posted a photo special with their Summer 2009 favs, and (not surprisingly) Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s July 11th wedding made the cut. In the article, we get a wider picture of the official photo Chan and Jenna released for the wedding.

New Photos of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Arriving in Paris for ‘G.I. Joe’ Press Tour

Thanks to OK Magazine we have some new photos of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan as the newlyweds arrive in Paris on the next leg of Chan’s ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra’ press tour. You can check out all of the new photos from their arrival above.
Before leaving Paris, Jenna tweeted a photo of an adorable dog she met on the streets of Paris. One thing that’s hard to miss in the photo is her gorgeous wedding ring. As if he was reading our minds, wedding guest Adam Shankman was nice enough to provide a close up when he tweeted a sweet photo showing Chan and Jenna’s custom-made Neil Lane rings at the July 11th wedding. Chan and Jenna are now in Tokyo, Japan for what I think may be a red carpet premiere on July 27th, and next they will continue the tour in Seoul, Korea on July 28th.
Then, it’s back to the states for a press event in New York (August 1st and 2nd), and finally, they will end the press tour in Los Angeles for the ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ red carpet premiere on August 6th. Check back daily for photos and appearance information from the events!!!
‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ premieres in Chile, Peru, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Korea, Thailand, Russia, Ukraine, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina on August 6th and the US, Brazil, Columbia, Panama, Mexico, Venezuela, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Poland, Turkey, and Spain on August 7th.
On a side note, Jen is a big fan of the show “So You Think You Can Dance and she tweeted about loving one of the performances from this week’s show. The moving piece features choreography by Tyce DiOrio, and highlights the struggle of a woman dealing with breast cancer and how it affects her partner.
It’s an amazingly powerful routine performed by dancers Melissa and Ade to Maxwell’s “This Woman’s Work” and brought everyone on the show (judges and all) to tears as they watched. Enjoy…

In case you missed it, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan got married on July 11th, and today’s Picture of the Week is one of the best we’ve ever had as far as I’m concerned. It’s Chan and Jenna’s official wedding photo (courtesy of People.com) that I mentioned they would release this week. It’s a beautiful photo, and they both look so amazingly happy…

Each week Channing Tatum Unwrapped will post one or more of our favorite pictures of the uber hot Channing Tatum.
I found today’s Picture of the Week on People.com this morning. It’s an adorable photo of a couple of very happy newlyweds, Channing Tatum and his beautiful new wife Jenna Dewan, giving the phototags what they want by sharing a kiss at LAX yesterday.
Many have asked about wedding photos. Out of respect for Chan and Jenna, I will not be posting any unauthorized paparazzi photos of the rehearsal dinner or the wedding here on CTU, but I confirmed today that Chan and Jenna will be releasing an official photo from the ceremony later this week, so stay tuned!
Finally, after a short break, Chan will start a world wind tour to promote the August 7th release of ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘, and his promotional tour will include lots of interviews and talk show appearances all around the world.
Chan will first make appearances in Sydney, Australia on July 20th, and then it’s on to London, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo (July 27th), Seoul (July 28th), and New York (August 1st and 2nd) before all is said and done. Finally, the couple will land on the red carpet at the LA premiere for ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ on August 6th and may even attend the 2009 Teen Choice Awards (where Chan is nominated) on August 9th, giving us tons of awesome photos ops along the way. And I will cover every bit of the journey right here on CTU!!

It started with ‘Step Up‘ and has happily ended with a step down the aisle…After getting engaged last September, Channing Tatum and his longtime love Jenna Dewan tied the knot today surrounded by close family and friends.
I just want to say a HUGE CONGRATS to this amazing couple and their wonderful families!!! Anyone who has spent any time with either Chan or Jenna knows that this is one couple that was truly made for each other. I wish them all of the happiness in the world in their new marriage. HUGS to Chan, Jenna, and the entire Tatum and Dewan clans!!!
UPDATE: People Magazine spoke with a rep of Chan and Jenna’s, so here’s some details from a ceremony that Chan’s mom told me was “magical” and prominently featured Jenna’s love of fairies…
Inside Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s Malibu Wedding

“Step Up costars Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan finally got their fairytale wedding when they tied the knot Saturday afternoon in Malibu, a rep for the couple confirms to PEOPLE.
Tatum, 29, and Dewan, 28, were married at a private estate overlooking the ocean. The two – the groom in Giorgio Armani; the bride in a Reem Acra gown – exchanged vows and Neil Lane wedding bands under pepper trees filled with white and blush florals.
Among the 220 guests were Marlon Wayans, maid of honor Emmanuelle Chriqui and bridesmaid Haylie Duff, who attended with her boyfriend, actor Nick Zano.
The wedding, orchestrated by event planner Mindy Weiss, paid tribute to the couple’s love of fairies, and included two flower girls who walked down the aisle wearing wings.
“They’re a really cool couple,” says Neil Lane, who worked closely with the newlyweds in designing their rings. “They complement each other and are playful and sweet. They laugh together and they’re clearly really in love.”
The outdoor ceremony was followed by a sit-down reception in a tent, decorated by Mark’s Garden with thousands of roses, hydrangeas and orchids in reds, fuchsia and blush. The couple enjoyed their first dance to Hawaiian artist Israel “Iz” Ka’ano’i Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of “Somewhere over the Rainbow.”

The wedding cake by Cake Divas was shaped as a magic castle filled with fairies in several flavors: red velvet, chocolate with chocolate fudge, and white with “funfetti” frosting, a favorite of the newlyweds.
