In today’s Videos of the Week we have Channing Tatum’s acceptance speech at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards where he came down with an acute case of Bieber Fever while winning a surfboard for Choice Movie Actor: Action Adventure for his role in ‘G.I. Joe‘. We also have Chan’s HitRECord.org comedic short that premiered to a packed house at the 2010 South by Southwest Film Festival in March and was featured on NYMag.com earlier this week. Enjoy!
For those who don’t know, ‘Morgan and Destiny’s Eleventeeth Date – The Zeppelin Zoo‘ is a film short Chan created with Joseph Gordon Levitt’s production company at HitRECord.org.
The film is a sequel to ‘Morgan M. Morgansen’s Date with Destiny‘, was written by Hit Recorder Metaphorest, and stars Chan, Lexy Hulme (aka Lula) and Joe as Lionel, Destiny, and Morgan…

“Reshoots today for my movie Slightly Single in LA..funny stuff..I may or may not have chased someone with a pipe in 5 inch heels.”

VIDEOS OF THE WEEK: Chan and Jenna Ring Side at Cung Le’s Strikeforce Fight

If you’ve been reading CTU for a while, then you know that Channing Tatum is a HUGE MMA fan, and often attends fights with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
Chan and Cung Le (a kickboxer, mixed martial artist, and actor who is one of the top MMA fighters in the Strikeforce league) filmed ‘Fighting‘ together and have been good friends ever since. Chan not only trains with Cung, he also tries to sit ring side at all of his fights and last night was no different.
Channing Tatum and his “expert traveler” wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum met up in San Jose yesterday to support Cung in his highly-anticipated rematch against fellow MMA fighter Scott Smith. From her extremely close seat Jenna tweeted, “I’m so close! Hope I don’t get blood on me.”…

At this particular fight, Chan had an even closer view, because he was actually part of Cung’s corner team. In today’s Videos of the Week fans can see Chan around the 2 minute mark in a video from last night’s fight, giving an interview at Cung’s December 2009 fight, and training with Cung at his California gym. Enjoy!
Le went into this fight with a HUGE score to settle (since his last encounter with Smith resulted in a surprise loss). In last night’s fight, the MMA legend ended up dropping Smith with a spinning back kick before the fight was stopped, and Cung defeated Smith via TKO at 1:46 in the second round. Today’s Videos of the Week are dedicated to this week’s theatrical releases of Channing Tatum’s romantic drama ‘Dear John‘ in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Central America, Brazil, and Italy. We have Chan and Amanda Seyfried’s Moviefone Unscripted interview where they answer fan questions and exclusive, behind-the-scenes pics that I took of them as they filmed the interview. Enjoy!

CTU EXCLUSIVE VIDEO OF THE WEEK: Chan and Jenna’s Special Birthday Wish to Fans

Today’s Video of the Week is a very special early birthday wish from Channing Tatum (who’s b-day is tomorrow) and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
As I previously posted, Chan and Jenna have joined forces with friend and fellow producer Reid Carolin to executive produce their first movie via their production company 33&Out. The film is called ‘EARTH MADE OF GLASS‘, which is a moving documentary that follows the Rwandan President Paul Kagame and genocide survivor Jean-Pierre Sagahutu, and it will have it’s world premiere at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival TOMORROW.

The film is getting rave reviews and has been chosen as a top movie to watch by both New York Magazine and the Hollywood Reporter. VIDEO OF THE WEEK: The New ‘STEP UP 3D’ Trailer is Here!!!

‘Step Up 3D‘, the highly-anticipated 3rd installment of the successful film franchise started by Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum in 2006, will hit theaters on August 6, 2010!!!
New York’s intense street dancing underground comes alive in eye-popping Digital 3D as the raw, passion-fueled culture goes global. A tight-knit group of street dancers, including Luke (Rick Malambri) and Natalie (Sharni Vinson), team up with NYU freshman Moose (Adam Sevani) and Alyson Stoner, and find themselves pitted against the worlds best hip hop dancers in a high-stakes showdown that will change their lives forever.

The movie looks awesome! I so can’t wait to see this in theaters with 3D glasses in hand! This week, the trailer will also start playing in theaters before Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Last Song’ and in 3D before the ‘Clash of the Titans’.
