CTU EXCLUSIVE PIC OF THE WEEK: Chan and Jenna’s Charity Photo Shoot for The Beauty Book

On Thursday, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and hubby Channing Tatum (along with Ryan Phillippe and Rachel Bilson) participated in a charity photo shoot with celebrity photographer Darren Tieste for a project called “The Beauty Book“. During and after the shoot, Jenna tweeted…
“At a photo shoot for a brain cancer charity book…with the hottie-oops I mean hubby…Go to www.thebeautybook.org and check out the brain cancer charity book!”
Brain Cancer is the leading cause in cancer-related death’s in patients younger than 35. 17,000 Americans, 2000 Australians and 280,000 worldwide are diagnosed with brain tumors every year.
“The Beauty Book” is a hard cover coffee table book that will be released later this year with images of your favorite celebrities, musicians, and top models. The goal of the book is to raise awareness and money to help support people fighting the awful disease.
Tieste is executive producing, and became personally involved with the project when he lost a close friend to brain cancer in 2008. All the monies raised, will go directly to Brain Cancer research via the Sydney Neurology Oncology Group (SNOG) and the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) charities. Both of the charitable organizations are non-profit and rely on donations and fundraising. “The Beauty Book” has the support of some of the biggest identities in the world who have all been photographed for this cause. In addition to Chan and Jenna, you will find celebs like Hugh Jackman, Fergie, Anna Paquin, Will.i.am, Emily Blunt, Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Ryan Seacrest, Rosario Dawson, Leighton Meester, Selma Blair, Christina Hendricks, Ashley Greene, Josh Duhamel, Justin Chambers, Chelsea Handler, Eric Dane, Kate Walsh, Kim Kardashian, Michelle Rodriguez, Dominic Monaghan, Minnie Driver, Rachel Hunter, Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra, Denise Richards, Brooklyn Decker, Maggie Grace, Marlon Wayans, Eliza Dushku, and Sophie Monk in the book.
Darren told me they are still solidifying an exact release date, but he hopes the book will launch some time in mid 2011.

In today’s Pictures of the Week we have EXCLUSIVE new photos of Chan (in his custom Cubs jersey with favorite #33 on the back and fake tattoos courtesy of his Chicago-based film ‘Cheaters‘) and Jenna at Wrigley field for today’s Cubs game where Chan threw out the ceremonial first pitch. We also have couple of cute photos of Jenna hanging out with friends last night in Chi-town. Enjoy!
Last night in Chicago, Jenna had a fun girl’s night with high school friend Jena and another girlfriend, and they tweeted out two cute, new pics. Check them both out below…

In today’s Pictures of the Week we have some new photos of Jenna in route to the Casting Cafe in Los Angeles earlier this week and spending some quality time with her hubby (aka Chan) and their two dogs Meeka and Lulu at Malibu’s Carrillo Beach on Sunday (courtesy of photographer Victoria N.). The last pic is a photo that Jen took of their “California Girl” on beach day and tweeted out to fans. Enjoy!

We have new pics of Chan and Jenna walking their dogs in Los Angeles, exclusive pics of Chan on the set of ‘Dear John‘, and new pics of Jenna working on her upcoming films ‘Balls to the Wall‘ and ‘Legend of Hells Gate‘. Enjoy!!!
After wrapping on his crime thriller ‘Son of No One‘ in New York City and before he heads to Chicago to start filming his comedy ‘Cheaters‘ in June, Chan headed home to Los Angeles. JustJared.com, Faded Youth and X17Online just posted some new pics from this past weekend showing the happy couple exercising together at LA’s Runyon Canyon (one of their favorite places) with dogs Meeka and Lulu. Check out some of the new pics below…
Jared recently interviewed Jenna and she told him what she’d like to accomplish in the next 30 years…
“I’d love to really start my humanitarian efforts with animals and kids…It’s always been ’save the animals and save the kids’ for me…I’d like to maybe have my own foundation or start that in the future.”

Next up, we have two exclusive, behind-the-scenes pics of Chan sent to me by his ‘Dear John‘ co-star Mary Rachel Dudley. She played Savannah’s mom, Mrs. Curtis, in the film and wanted to share that Chan was “such a joy to work with”. Below, you can check out her cute photos of Chan on the set of ‘Dear John‘ with director Lasse Hallström and with Mary and her beautiful family.

And finally we have pics of Jenna with ‘Legend of Hells Gate‘ writer/actor/director Tanner Beard doing ADR (aka automatic dialogue replacement). During ADR, actors re-record lines spoken during filming to improve audio quality or reflect dialog changes…
‘Legend of Hells Gate‘ is currently in the post-production phase. Based on their official Twitter updates, they’re close to wrapping up editing and are in the process of completing the soundtrack with composer Lexie Beard and Space Radio Band.

PICTURES OF THE WEEK: Jenna Dewan-Tatum on Set and Hanging with Meeka and Lulu

Today’s Pictures of the Week show Jenna walking the two dogs she and Chan share and show her behind-the-scenes on the Los Angeles set of her new indie romantic comedy ‘Balls to the Wall‘.
People Pets posted a cute, new pic of Jenna as she walked her dog Meeka and Chan’s dog Lulu last Friday in Runyon Canyon. Fans can check out a few additional photos from their walk below…
As I’ve mentioned before, Chan’s dog Lulu is a rescue he picked up in his home state of Alabama in 2008. Pet adoption definitely runs in the family, because Jenna’s mom Nancy just adopted an adorable new Pomeranian from Ohio-based Angels 4 Animals that looks a lot like little Meeka Tatum.
You can actually credit this particular adoption to the amazing power of Twitter. Angels 4 Animals sent out a tweet in February letting everyone know that a cute Pomeranian (named after Jenna for her love of rescues) needed a home. Jenna (the person) retweeted the tweet, and the next thing you know, her mom answered the call and decided to adopt Jenna (the puppy).
Nancy just picked up the newly trained pom today and here’s a great picture of “little” Jenna with her new family…
Although the holidays may be a little confusing with the two Jenna’s and look-alike dogs, I’m sure “little” Jenna couldn’t have found a better home than Nancy and “big” Jenna’s dad Claude. Congrats to the new family!!!
After filming her cameo in Christina Aguilera’s new music video on Sunday, Jenna started working on her latest movie, an indie romantic comedy called ‘Balls to the Wall‘, on Monday and tweeted out a behind-the-scenes pic from the makeup chair…
Based on Jenna’s previous two sets (’Slightly Single in LA‘ and ‘Legend of Hells Gate‘), I’m sure fans can look forward to more pics and maybe even a twit-vid or two, so stay tuned!

Although the fan art in today’s Pictures of the Week may look like images (because they really are that good), they’re actually drawings of Channing Tatum created by talented artist Arief Kurniawan.
Arief used images of Chan from his Greg Gorman photo shoot, the 2006 ‘Step Up’ premiere, ‘Fighting‘ promotional stills, and Chan’s very popular GQ photo shoot from their August 2009 issue as inspirations for his insanely accurate drawings.
