I recently got to spend some time with Channing Tatum’s mom Kay and sister Paige, who, for the record, are just as beautiful inside as they are outside and who I truly love like family.
Kay’s birthday was last week and Paige’s birthday is today, and I want to again say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to two of the three most important women in Chan’s life (his wife Jenna obviously being the third)!

It’s no surprise that Chan and Jenna’s holiday festivities are full of love, awesome gifts, shiny gold tinsel crowns, and yummy food, but I have to say I wasn’t expecting a dog watching TV…
Mama Kay, who was nice enough to send me these pics of Chan, Jenna, and their dogs Lulu and Meeka celebrating at their house for Christmas, tells me that Chan’s dog Lulu is an avid TV watcher. If animals are on the screen, Lulu (a blue-eyed pup Chan rescued from an Alabama shelter a few years ago) will sit right in front of the TV and pay close attention to what’s on, even when there’s no sound!
After spending some quality downtime with Chan, his parents Kay and Glenn, and the rest of the family, Jenna tweeted…
“Had a great Xmas with Mama Kay and Papa T:) My stomach is not ready for healthy food yet”

Chan also posted this cute photo on on PostThelove.com with a special message to members from him and Jenna…

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM CHAN AND JENNA!!!

Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum hopped on a plane to Texas yesterday to spend Thanksgiving with Jenna’s family, and they tweeted out the adorable pic above from the air.
In case you’re wondering what the couple is doing for Thanksgiving…Last week, Jenna was honored at US Weekly’s “Star’s Who Care” event where Access Hollywood and US Weekly interviewed her on the red carpet, and she gave us a glimpse into the couple’s holiday plans…
“I will be cooking some vegan Thanksgiving dishes for everybody. I will be doing some vegan mashed potatoes and a mac ‘n’ cheese casserole that’s vegan. Earth Balance butter is amazing! It’s a staple. Daiya cheese is too. You just have to find the right products and mix them all together, but it’s totally yummy. I’ve made food for my husband [Channing Tatum] who’s non-vegan and he’s like, ‘That’s really good!’”
Flash forward to today…While hanging out with Chan and her family and watching the Cowboys play, Jenna tweeted…
Happy thanksgiving!! I love you all and am grateful for all your love and support!
…and shared a really sweet photo that Chan took of her with her mom Nancy. It’s no surprise that she dubbed it “Pure love!“…

IN THE PRESS: Channing Tatum…An Emerging Actor Moviegoers Want To See

In the gratuitous puppy shots above we have some adorable new pics of Channing Tatum playing at a Los Angeles dog park earlier this week with his rescue dog Lulu and Jenna’s dog Meeka.
Whether we’re talking about canines or humans, the actor (who VH1 recently dubbed as one of the 25 Sexiest Movie Soldiers) has never really had any issues in the likeability department, and The Hollywood Reporter has conducted an actual study that further proves it.
The November 17, 2010 issue of THR says that Hollywood has anointed its next generation of stars, so they decided to conduct an official study to see if the public is ready to embrace them.
The global research firm Penn Schoen Berland was tasked with asking young moviegoers which emerging stars they like. Last month, the firm conducted an online poll of 525 people ages 13-34 (the core moviegoing demographic). Participants were asked if they knew each actor and whether he or she is one of their favorites. You can check out the high quality scan of the THR article below…
As you can see, Chan fared extremely well in the poll, because 85% of the respondents correctly identified him, and he ranked 3rd in the “Favorite Actor” question, right behind Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Lautner. The results also revealed that Chan is more of a Girl’s Guy, since more women than men picked him as a favorite.
The bottom line…They like him! They REALLY like him!!! And it’s that likeability that can keep Chan’s acting and producing project list full for many years to come, which is good for him and even better for all of us fans. CONGRATS TO CHAN!!!
