We have new pics of Chan and Jenna walking their dogs in Los Angeles, exclusive pics of Chan on the set of ‘Dear John‘, and new pics of Jenna working on her upcoming films ‘Balls to the Wall‘ and ‘Legend of Hells Gate‘. Enjoy!!!
After wrapping on his crime thriller ‘Son of No One‘ in New York City and before he heads to Chicago to start filming his comedy ‘Cheaters‘ in June, Chan headed home to Los Angeles. JustJared.com, Faded Youth and X17Online just posted some new pics from this past weekend showing the happy couple exercising together at LA’s Runyon Canyon (one of their favorite places) with dogs Meeka and Lulu. Check out some of the new pics below…
Jared recently interviewed Jenna and she told him what she’d like to accomplish in the next 30 years…
“I’d love to really start my humanitarian efforts with animals and kids…It’s always been ’save the animals and save the kids’ for me…I’d like to maybe have my own foundation or start that in the future.”

Next up, we have two exclusive, behind-the-scenes pics of Chan sent to me by his ‘Dear John‘ co-star Mary Rachel Dudley. She played Savannah’s mom, Mrs. Curtis, in the film and wanted to share that Chan was “such a joy to work with”. Below, you can check out her cute photos of Chan on the set of ‘Dear John‘ with director Lasse Hallström and with Mary and her beautiful family.

And finally we have pics of Jenna with ‘Legend of Hells Gate‘ writer/actor/director Tanner Beard doing ADR (aka automatic dialogue replacement). During ADR, actors re-record lines spoken during filming to improve audio quality or reflect dialog changes…
‘Legend of Hells Gate‘ is currently in the post-production phase. Based on their official Twitter updates, they’re close to wrapping up editing and are in the process of completing the soundtrack with composer Lexie Beard and Space Radio Band.

JENNA’S FAVORITE MEMORY OF HER MOM NANCY: “My mom and I were always really silly together and had a lot of fun. When i was a little girl, I remember us dancing around in our living room to the song Rock Steady! We were singing and dancing. Now, every time I hear that song, I have to call her!”
CHAN’S FAVORITE MEMORY OF HIS MOM KAY: “We went to pick up our dog from groomer for the first time and it was just the funniest thing ever because the dog got shaved. My mom couldn’t stop laughing. We tried to order food at a drive-through and my mom couldn’t get (the words) out. ‘Can I get a tea-hee-ee?’ It was one of those moments - I really appreciated it.”

Thank you Chan, Q and all at CTU for the Happy Mother’s Day wishes!!!! I remember that day Chan talked about, I laughed so hard, I could not even talk!!! For all that know me, also know that not talking is next to impossible for me. But our little spitz looked soooo funny without all her fluffy white hair, I just could not help myself. Hahaha But again, thanks to you all, it really made my day. Also Q, I wish you, Nancy, (Jenna’s Mom) and all the other mothers in our CTU family the happiest day ever:)) - Hugs, Kay

Earlier today, we got our first glimpse at Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s cameo in Christina Aguilera’s new video for the single “Not Myself Tonight“. As I mentioned in my previous post, the pop star hand-picked Jenna for the cameo and was even nice enough to send her a HUGE bouquet of flowers after the sexy shoot to thank her for being such a good sport. Fans can check out the racy new music video from Vevo.com that Jenna herself said is a bit “scandalous”…

CTU EXCLUSIVE: Channing’s Mom Stars in ‘Dear John’ Too!!

Chan’s parents almost always visit the sets of his movies while he’s filming, but their visit to the beautiful Charleston, South Carolina set of ‘Dear John’ was a little different from all the rest.
Chan has talked about his Dad’s appearance in the film, which included an actual line that Glenn delivered at Savanna’s parent’s party where they first met John Tyree.
But now ChanningTatumUnwrapped.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal that Chan’s mom, Kay, is also in the film. She is the woman standing beside Chan’s dad during the party as he thanks John (Chan’s character) for his service in the military.
Kay and Glenn filmed their parts in ‘Dear John‘ in late 2008, but didn’t tell anyone about it, just in case their scene ended up on the cutting room floor. Thankfully, this was not the case, and both proud parents are featured in the final cut. Both Glenn and Kay did a really great job in the film, and it honestly made me love the movie even more!
Whether it’s helping with fan mail or filming her first role in a major film, Chan’s mom handles it all with grace, humility, and a sweet Southern sensibility. She takes care of Chan and Jenna and the whole Tatum clan, and we all love her all the more for it.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Chan’s mom (and dad’s) big acting debut when you pick up your copy of ‘Dear John‘ on DVD and/or Blu-ray on May 25th.

IN THE PRESS: Channing Tatum Reveals Fan Mail Secrets to OK Magazine

If you know Channing Tatum for any time at all, then you know that family, friends, and fans are extremely important to him.
So when Channing revealed to CTU years ago that mom Kay was helping him with his fan mail, it didn’t surprise to me one bit. Who better to take care of your fans than the person that’s taken such amazing care of you your entire life?
As you may imagine, Chan gets a ton of fan mail every week, and it’s momma Kay who sorts through letters from all over the world, organizes everything, and spends her precious few moments with her son to make sure that fan autograph requests are filled and shipped back out to destinations far and wide.
Case in point, she just sent me a ton of autographed posters and autographed magazines that Chan signed for all of you. Join the FREE official fan club and stay tuned for future contests here on CTU.
In a recent OK magazine interview from last month’s ‘Dear John‘ UK press tour, Chan talked about his mom and revealed some of the *ahem* interesting fan mail he’s gotten from some dedicated fans…
“I do get quite a bit of fan mail and most of it is just nice normal stuff. But I have had underwear sent to me and one pair had my face on, which was rather weird. My mom sorts through some of it for me and it’s the best job for a mom to do - they love it!”
Although Chan writes short notes and personally signs all of the autograph requests from fans, you won’t really catch him hand writing ‘Dear John‘-style letters like his alter-ego John Tyree. Chan tells OK magazine…
“In the film they wouldn’t let me use my own handwriting for the letters as it looks like a three year old has written or a chicken! I spell everything wrong so writing letters is not my strong point.”
So when you’re trying to figure out what fan mail to send Chan, just remember that momma Kay is probably going to see it first. Maybe you can send her a little thank you note, and if you must send underwear, just make sure it’s respectable. Just sayin’.
