March 12, 2010
Last week Jenna Dewan-Tatum attended TheWrap.com’s 2010 Awards Season Nominee Celebration at the new Four Seasons Hotel Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills, California wearing one of her favorite design houses.
In Alice + Olivia’s popular Wrapped Goddess dress and jewelry from Energy Muse, Jenna has won, not one, not two, but THREE different fashion face-offs voted on by US Weekly, People, and Hollywood Life readers.
Jenna tweeted…”hmmm maybe it’s because of my “luck” energy muse bracelet?”. She could be right, but honestly, she really didn’t need the help…she looked stunning at the event. Fans can click on the three images below to check out Jenna’s clear victory in all of the face-off articles…
After attending numerous different pre-oscar bashes, Jenna headed on over to Santa Fe, New Mexico to visit husband Channing Tatum as he films Steven Soderbergh’s action-revenge spy thriller ‘Knockout‘. She tweeted out the pic below to show everyone the beautiful new vintage native American earrings she found in the area and then she tweeted…

- “Watching Steven Soderbergh on set is beyond…a real genius of his craft. and nice and humble. love it.”
After Chan finishes filming ‘Knockout‘ (which will most likely be released sometime in 2011), he’ll head back to the streets of New York to film Dito Montiel’s ‘Son of No One‘ in late March or April.

New Photos of Jenna Dewan-Tatum on the Set of ‘Legend of Hell’s Gate’
November 14, 2009
Jenna Dewan-Tatum recently started working on her first western, ‘The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy‘, and has been really good about tweeting pics from the set.
On today’s post you can check out one of the three great photos Jenna has shared with fans over the past few days (CLICK HERE to see the other two).
This one’s definitely my favorite thus far, because it shows Jen with her equally gorgeous mom who, like a trouper, pulled an all-nighter with the cast and crew when she recently visited Jenna on the Granbury, Texas set.
The Lake Country Sun is confirming that Jenna’s new western will soon complete it’s month long filming in north Texas. Based on her tweets, it sounds like the movie is going to be action-packed and true to it’s western-era roots. She tweets…
- “The scene were shooting tonight is one big gunfight, with TONS of actors! Pretty brilliant that were getting it all in 1 night…I just wanna say that bustles are amazing..insta-ass! Ladies, we gotta figure out the 2009 version.”
Writer and director Tanner Beard told the Lake Country Sun that the production is currently in their third week of filming and will wrap on November 17th. They initially started off in Boerne, Texas, moved on to Possum Kingdom, and then filmed in Erath, Palo Pinto and Hood counties.
‘The Legend of Hell’s Gate‘ is about how “Hell’s Gate” at Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas came to have it’s name and will allow fans to relive the story of how three outlaw’s expeditions and encounters through historical 1870’s Texas ended up being remembered for a lifetime.
After filming wraps, Beard told the paper that post production editing, music, and sound will take approximately four months and that the movie has an anticipated release of summer or fall of 2010.
Coincidentally, both Chan (who will complete his Roman epic ‘Eagle of the Ninth‘ in Scotland soon) and Jenna will be wrapping up filming on their current projects about the same time, and hopefully, the newlyweds will be able to spend some well-earned quality time with family and friends stateside this Thanksgiving.

FAN ENCOUNTER: Fan Hangs with the Cast & Crew of Channing Tatum’s ‘The Eagle of the Ninth’
October 16, 2009
Filming began on Channing Tatum’s Roman drama ‘Eagle of the Ninth‘ in Hungary on August 24th and moved to Scotland a few weeks ago.
Ted from the fan site All Things Foe recently posted an exclusive report with photos from a fan named Julie who lives in the area where ‘Eagle‘ is filming. You can read all about her encounter at the set and at a dance (called a Ceilidh) the town held for the cast and crew (including both Chan and his wife Jenna Dewan) below…
“On Saturday, 10th October, we decided to walk up to Fox Point to look at the set. The weather was great when we had left home and was still dry as we walked up the hill. Due to filming we had to wait for a while and once the all terrain vehicles started to move we were able to continue towards the set.
‘The Eagle of the Ninth‘ is based on the best-selling, classic 1954 teen novel by Rosemary Sutcliff, and is set in the dangerous world of second-century Britain.
In 140 AD, twenty years after the unexplained disappearance of the entire Ninth Legion in the mountains of Scotland, young centurion Marcus Aquila (played by Channing) arrives from Rome to solve the mystery and restore the reputation of his father, the commander of the Ninth.
Accompanied only by his British slave Esca (Jamie Bell), Marcus sets out across Hadrian’s Wall into the uncharted highlands of Caledonia - to confront its savage tribes, make peace with his father’s memory, and retrieve the lost legion’s golden emblem, the Eagle of the Ninth. Donald Sutherland portrays Marcus’ uncle Aquila, who has retired in Britain; Mark Strong is cast as Guern, an ex-soldier who holds crucial information about the Ninth.
The sets in Scotland are being used to represent everything north of Hadrian’s Wall, while the Hungary locations are a stand-in for everything south of the Wall in the film.
‘The Eagle of the Ninth‘ is scheduled to hit theaters some time in 2010!!!

October 9, 2009
Jenna Dewan is featured in this week’s US Weekly magazine for an outfit she wore to the Nylon Magazine TV issue launch party this past August. If you remember some of my previous posts, this isn’t the first time Jenna’s fashion choice for this particular event has been spotlighted (i.e. FabSugar and People Magazine).
You can check out my latest obsession (a pair of L.A.M.B. Rasta Boots that I recently tweeted about and have added to my X-mas wish list), Channing Tatum’s adorable wife, and her trend-setting over-the-knee boots in US Weekly’s October 19, 2009 issue below…

There have been reports that the production team will also be using 3 locations within the Coigach area of Scotland…Fox Point (near Dornie Harbor overlooking the Summer Isles), Achnahaird and Loch Lurigan.

ON LOCATION: Channing Tatum’s ‘The Eagle of the Ninth’ Moving from Hungary to Scotland
September 27, 2009
Filming began on Channing Tatum’s Roman drama ‘Eagle of the Ninth‘ in Hungary on August 24th and is scheduled to move to Scotland later this week.
Fan site All Things Foe is confirming previously reported filming locations, exposing some new sites, and has even provided a photo of one of the local Hungarian extra’s (a member of the Hungarian historical group Legio Brigetio) used for a minor role in the film.
Supposedly, dozens of 2nd century Caledonian tribal homes and Roman settlements are currently being constructed for the film in Scotland with Hungarian crews, and a Hungarian news source recently reported that filming for ‘Eagle of the Ninth‘ will take place at Hadrian’s Wall once production gets to Scotland. Hadrian’s Wall contains one of the most complete Roman forts in Britain, and lies across a ridge giving great views of the countryside of both England to the south and Scotland to the north.
All Things Foe is also reporting that the production will build a set at Glen Sloy above Loch Lomond and shooting will last for approximately three days. The Loch Sloy Hydro Electric Station actually owns the entire glen where filming will take place, and is allowing the production company to use the location. On the site, a local also confirms that the production team will be using 3 locations within the Coigach area in Scotland…Fox Point (near Dornie Harbor overlooking the Summer Isles), Achnahaird and Loch Lurigan.
The sets in Scotland are supposedly being used to represent everything north of Hadrian’s Wall, while the Hungary locations are a stand-in for everything south of the Wall in the film.
