Favorite Channing Tatum Picture and Why?:Okay I know it’s not exactly a photo but it originally it was. For some reason I usually end up liking Brad’s drawings more than the original pictures …no there is a reason, because they are so awesome lol. This is my favorite picture of Chan, because for one, he has his goatee, and I always think facial hair makes him look even more gorgeous. Secondly, it shows his gorgeous smile and his tongue that always seems to be poking through lol. A large reason why I like this picture though is the glasses. They’re the first thing that my eyes are drawn to, probably because his eyes are underneath them…yes Channing’s eyes always seem to draw mine to his. Then there is his great style which he shows off with the scarf, his great hair, and adorable lines from his smile….am I missing anything? Yep, that’s why I love this picture. ☺
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
‘SHE’S THE MAN‘! When I got this movie, I watched it over and over and over for a week, eventually watched it with commentaries just to switch it up a bit. My parents were so sick of hearing it they were ready to break the dvd in half lol, but luckily they didn’t. ☺ It’s just a funny movie and has the cute lil romance factor weaved in. And of course Chan does an amazing job in it, plays the part perfectly. His shirt is off 50% of the movie, doesn’t get better than that.
Favorite Channing Tatum Scene and Why?:
This is a toughy because I don’t have a favorite scene. There’s always the trunk scene from ‘Stop-Loss‘…just kidding. I really like the scene from ‘She’s the Man‘ where Chan and Amanda are lying on their beds having a heart to heart conversation, I thought it was very cute.
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie Quote and Why?:
I don’t know if this is my favorite quote or not but all I know is that I say it all the time lol. In ‘She’s the Man‘ after the carnival Sebastian (Amanda) sees that Duke’s nose is bleeding and says, ‘oh my god you’re hurt’ followed by…”I mean, suck it up, be a man and rub some dirt on it.” I think it’s funny, and then the look on Chan’s face when she says, ‘okay, I’ll rub some dirt in it…’ *sigh* love it. lol
Favorite Upcoming Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
I’m really excited for ‘Dear John‘. I haven’t read the book yet, though I am planning to soon. However, I have read other books by Nicholas Sparks and really liked them. Chan in a romance movie…I can’t wait!!!
Have you ever met Channing?:
Nope, haven’t met Channing. And I don’t remember my dreams but I’m sure he’s still in there lol. I hope someday I will, that would be so awesome I can’t even explain. I would be ecstatic and probably speechless, yes speechless lol
Why are you a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan?:
It started by just being an addict to his movies, and him too of course. I knew when I watched one it would lead to a Channing Tatum movie marathon lol. I was looking for videos of ‘She’s the Man‘ one day and what ya know, found this place. CTU is amazing, anything and everything out there related to Chan Q finds. I still can’t wrap my head around how she does it. There are not many official sites out there for actors, actresses, singers, you name it that are like CTU. Of course it helps that Chan is not like other celebrities and is completely down to earth and just an amazing guy. CTU led me to meeting truly great people, something that I never thought would happen when I first stumbled upon this place. I’ve even had a chance to meet friends that I met through CTU, who were just as amazing in person ☺. I plan on staying for quite some time, hope that’s okay with you Q. lol

Favorite Channing Tatum Picture and Why?:I LOVE this picture because he just looks so relaxed and at peace. I would imagine that he would want to be this way more often with his busy schedule these days. And I forgot the most important part, he is sooooooo handsome and has really cute toes…
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
‘She’s The Man‘ - Honestly, this is the first movie I ever saw Chan in. After which I went and got every other movie of course. I think for one he looked absolutely gorgeous and he portrayed a character that I think every girl dreams of being with. The shy type, yet manly. Even though he has done so many other films where he portrays a more rugged type, I think the movie shows the true sensitive side of Chan that made me fall in love with him.
Favorite Channing Tatum Scene and Why?:
There are so many it’s hard to get just one. I loved the last dance act in ‘Step Up‘. That had me on my toes, and it’s so amazing to know that Chan had really no dancing background and yet he accomplished such an amazing performance.
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie Quote and Why?:
“Some are born with greatness, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon us.” This is such a deep quote and I definitely think that all three relates to him. But it also it helps you to define yourself.
Favorite Upcoming Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
I really want to see ‘Stop Loss‘. I’ve seen previews of this movie with Chan. His performance is amazing as usual, and I want to be able to cry with him.
Have you ever met Channing?:
Only in my dreams, but I have a lot of hope. He is the only actor I have ever been so committed to and I do believe that one day I will be able to tell him how much of an inspiration he is to me in my life.
Why are you a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan?:
Channing is one of the few actors I have seen in my life that is so committed to the work he does, but at the same time is committed to thanking and appreciating his fans no matter who they are. He has not once made us feel that he was too busy or too high and mighty. Also, because of his loving nature he has brought so many people together and allowed me too meet so many friends [at CTU] that I absolutely adore.
Why does Channing Tatum Unwrapped think that this fan belongs in the Fab Fan Spotlight?
Liz has been an avid reader and participator in the CTU community for a really long time now. She has always shown her dedication to Chan and the site by making friends on the chat box, commenting on posts, and enthusiastically participating in any and every activity that I throw at readers. All of that and more clearly defines Liz as a Fab Fan!
Thanks Liz for letting me profile you and for taking the time to share all of your info with the other readers!
As the subject of the Fab Fan Spotlight, Liz is able to pick a custom-made poster of Channing Tatum courtesy of Channing Tatum Unwrapped! Liz’s Fab Fan Spotlight prize will be sent to her.

Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan Spotlight
June 26, 2008
In an effort to help CTU readers learn more about each other, once a month I profile one special Channing Tatum fan on the blog and give them the “Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan Spotlight” award.
I am excited to announce that this month’s Channing Tatum Unwrapped Fab Fan Spotlight is dedicated to Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan Adriane from Salvador in Brazil.
Since Adriane does not speak English, I have tried to translate her answers. Hopefully, I’ve been able to capture the gist of what she is so eloquently trying to say. Here is what you should know about Adriane:
Name:Adriane F.
City:
Salvador
State:
Bahia
Country:
Brazil
Age:
28
Favorite Channing Tatum Picture and Why?:This photo is spontaneous, simple, natural, and shows the look that I most admire in Chan.
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
My favorite movie is Step Up. It was because of this movie that I first started to admire Chan. His performance was excellent, and I really liked Jenna and Chan as a romantic pair. It is a sweet film that contains drama, dance, and romance, and it always leaves me wanting more.
Favorite Channing Tatum Scene and Why?:
I really liked Channing in the scene in ‘A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints‘ (Santos and Demônios) after Dito’s (Shia Labeouf) father Monty (Chazz Palminteri) has had a heart attack. When Antonio (Channing) sees the person he most admired almost dying, it was a wonderful and strong acting moment for Chan, because he showed concern, anger, and despair all at the same time. His performance shows how much talent he has. I am very anxious to see all his current and future movies.
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie Quote and Why?:
My favorite movie quote is from ‘Coach Carter‘ when Jason Lyle (Channing) sees his friend and teammate Cruz (Rick) struggling as he tries desperately to get back on the team by doing the exercises Coach Carter (Samuel Jackson) asked him to complete by a certain deadline. Lyle says, “You said we’re a team. One person struggles, we all struggle. One person triumphs, we all triumph.”.
Because everything in life is difficult, I believe and trust that a simple gesture and truthful words can change our lives. He showed not only to the players, but also to Cruz, that one needs the other. Everyone can win together and achieve their goals. He gave a great lesson in morality. In real life, sometimes we need a real friend to show us that sometimes we cannot do things alone. We have to trust, and trust is not given, this is won.
Favorite Upcoming Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
My favorite upcoming movie is ‘Battle In Seattle‘. This is a movie that leaves me with great expectations, because it features a real-life story. Lately, Chan’s movies are more and more significant. I’m sure it will give an accurate account of the events, plus the character is very different for Chan and will show his versatility. The story of the film is very good, and he is acting as a police officer which is something that, for me in particular, I was hoping for. I’m counting down the days until I can see the film in Brazil!!!!!!
Have you ever met Channing?:
Unfortunately not. If I met him, I would be a very happy fan, because I admire him so much. He is a beauty to the world, literally speaking in every way. I know that if I did meet him, I would be speechless. Unfortunately, I do not know how to speak English, but I know that the one word I can say is “thank you”.
Why are you a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan?:
Well, this is a response that requires much attention. I imagine that we all consider ourselves Chan’s #1 fan in our own way. He’s given us the opportunity to have wonderful moments. His charisma is unmatched. He is not only beautiful outside and inside, but he is also respectful and treats his fans with so much care. Even though I don’t speak English and have to learn about him and his films through the help of a translator, I consider myself a big fan.
Why does Channing Tatum Unwrapped think that this fan belongs in the Fab Fan Spotlight?
Adriane has been reading CTU for quite a while now, and incredibly, has not let the fact that she does not know English very well get in the way of her getting involved in the site. I’ve always been impressed at how she goes all out for the various projects we have had at CTU. You can take a look at her elaborate and impressive Christmas present submission on the right as one example. I was also very impressed by Adriane’s thoughtful answers to the Fab Fan questions above, and hopefully I did not butcher them too much as I tried to compensate for the translator that can sometimes misinterpret American vernacular. Most importantly, anyone who takes the time to translate the site and their submissions to CTU is definitely going above and beyond the call of duty as a fan as far as I’m concerned, and it’s one of the many reasons why Adriane deserves this Fab Fan Spotlight.
Thanks Adriane for letting me profile you and for taking the time to share all of your info with the other readers!
As the subject of the Fab Fan Spotlight, Adriane is able to pick a custom-made poster of Channing Tatum courtesy of Channing Tatum Unwrapped! Adriane’s Fab Fan Spotlight prize will be sent to her.
Finally, Adriane’s Fab Fan Spotlight profile will be added on the right side of the blog so other Channing Fans can learn about her from any page. Feel free to send your congrats to Adriane in the comments on this entry!

Favorite Channing Tatum Picture and Why?:
This is not exactly my favorite picture, but I really really really like it. Why? well, besides the fact Chan looks HOT, he looks so simple. Which I like. Also, the colors in the picture! Oh and his eyes…ahhh!Favorite Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
I love all of Chan’s movies, but since I’m more of a comedy person, I have to go with ‘She’s The Man‘. While watching the movie I was almost peeing my pants. hehe. I loved it!Favorite Channing Tatum Scene and Why?:
Do the gray sweat pants in ‘Step Up‘ count? [COLLECTIVE FAN REPLY: Yes they do.]
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie Quote and Why?:
I like when in ‘Stop-Loss‘ he says “We’re soldiers,we stand for something” and in ‘Step Up 2‘ when he says “Me & Nora going on tour” and then the little dance he makes. He looked so adorable =]Favorite Upcoming Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
Although there hasn’t been any news about this movie, I’m dying to see ‘Dear John‘. I read the book and its “Chan-tastic”. Chan, playing John…woooooo sexyyyyy!Have you ever met Channing?:
Ok, so I dont know if it would be described as meeting him but I did get to see him. It was while he was in New York filming ‘Fighting‘. My cousin, Marlie, and I just happened to be by where Chan was filming, and we ran into the set ;] . Thirty minutes later we met up with our CTU friend Alex. Everytime we decided we were going to approach Chan ( when he was on break ), TERRANCE HOWARD’S bodyguard (noticed i said Terrance’s bodyguard not Chan’s) would stop us. Although we did not approach him, we got to hang around by the set for 6 hours lol XD.
Why are you a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan?:
At first i just thought Chan was like really really hot. I mean I still think so, but thats not why I’m a Chan Fan. Besides being extremely hot, Chan seems to be soo nice, cool, and down-to-earth. I never would’ve known that if it wasnt for CTU. I have to say that CTU is a big part of why I’m still a Chan Fan. So thank you for that Quishe![]()
Why does Channing Tatum Unwrapped think that this fan belongs in the Fab Fan Spotlight?
No one can question Kerline’s dedication as a fan, and she has been a strong supporter of CTU since she started reading it last year. She is extremely involved in the fan community, has made a ton of new friends around the world right here on CTU, and keeps in touch with them through the site. She’s also contributed to the community by submitting countless Pictures of the Week and Videos of the Week and by taking the time to make really creative fan videos. You can watch one of her awesome videos below:

Favorite Channing Tatum Picture and Why?:
This picture is probably my all time favorite picture of Chan. This was the very first picture I put it on my cell phone wall.I really love how you can see his muscles… who doesn’t like looking at Chan’s awesome muscles, right?? lol Every time my parents see this picture, they go, “He should pull up his pants.”
They never understand why I am so in love with Chan.
Oh well, at least y’all know why I love his so much!! I also love his gangster look in this picture. You might not say this is a “gangster look”, but that’s what I thought. It was super, duper, uper hard to choose only ONE picture of him from all his gorgeous pictures. I really thinks he’s hot and cute in every pictures.

Favorite Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
I have only seen two movies of Chan; ‘She’s The Man‘ and ‘Step Up‘, and I love them both like crazy. Well, actually I’ve seen ‘Coach Carter‘ too. Oh and that short film, ‘The Trap‘. It’s so hard to choose one movie, but I will have to say ‘She’s The Man‘ is my favorite, because you get to see a lot of shirt-less Chan.lol No, that’s not the only reason. I love this movie, because it has comedy and I love funny movies. Also, I loved watching how Amanda Bynes and Chan were joking around and just having fun. Of all the soccer players in the movie, Chan was definitely the hottest!!! I loved his character, Duke Orsino, too, because unlike the other guys, he wasn’t only interested in a girl’s physical appearance. I want to meet a guy who looks at the inner view of a girl, not just her appearance and Duke was a perfect guy for me. He had humor, he was a little shy and he was a person who could think about people’s feelings. I think Chan is a lot like Duke and Duke must have been a very familiar character to him. I don’t know, I might be wrong, but that’s what I imagine.
‘She’s The Man‘ makes me happy and makes me laugh even though when I’m in a bad mood or depressing mood. This movie makes me want to fall in love with someone and be with someone. It also gives me the feeling of wanting to hang out with my friends and just have fun! So, I’ll have to say that ‘She’s The Man‘ is my favorite movie of all the wonderful movies Chan has been in.
Favorite Channing Tatum Scene and Why?:
This was pretty easy to choose since I already know my favorite scene. My favorite scene is from the movie, ‘She’s The Man‘ , when Duke does his happy/excited dance after Olivia asks him to go out with her for dinner in the gym. He’s absolutely CUTE when he does that dance!!! Oh my gosh, just thinking about the scene makes me smile.Awwww!!!! I really love this scene, because he acted so cool (well, he “tried” to act cool) when Olivia talked to him and after she left, he shows Viola (the fake-Sebastian) how he’s excited about her asking him out for dinner. Now THAT was CUTE!!!
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie Quote and Why?:
I really like that one quote of Chan from the movie ‘She’s The Man‘ when he talked to Viola in their room… ummmm… when Viola realized how delicate he was about girls.Favorite Upcoming Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
My answer might be really strange for everyone, but I am really desperate to see ‘A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints‘. I know this movie was released in 2006, but it hasn’t come to Japan yet. I heard that this movie proved how a great actor Chan is and how talented he is. I already know how great he is only by watching ‘Step Up‘ and ‘She’s The Man‘, but as I talk to Chan’s fans, they say that ‘A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints‘ was the one which showed the world how great of an actor he is.Other than the movie that has already came out except in Japan (and probably few other countries too), I am looking forward to see ‘Fighting‘. I don’t know why, but ‘Fighting‘ feels very familiar to me right now. Maybe because Q was able to go meet Chan while he was up in NY filming for the movie and finally got to know t
he real Channing Tatum. Maybe because this movie was the first one I was able to read at CTU how he’s filming, where he is and all kinds of information about the filming of the movie, because before I found CTU I had no idea what was going on with Chan!! So, a big thanks to Q for having CTU and to all the Chanaholics for teaching me about Chan. =)Have you ever met Channing?:
Yes in my dream…… no, I have never met Chan before. I would LOVE to and I would DIE to see him, but no I haven’t, but hopefully I will sooner or later.![]()
Why are you a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan?:
To tell you the truth, I have no idea why I am a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan or why I deserve this amazing spotlight…. Am I even a “Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan”? I don’t know, but one thing I can say is that I really love Chan. I love Chan as an actor, as a man, and as a person (wait, was that the same thing?? Lol). He is just so perfect for me and I am so happy that I got to know him better while reading posts at CTU.‘Step Up‘ was the very first movie I saw of Channing. I have seen ‘Coach Carter‘ before ‘Step Up‘, but never paid attention to Chan and the worse thing is that I didn’t even know that Chan was in that movie! So ‘Step Up‘, is the first one I recognized him (well, who would ever NOT recognize him when he’s starring the movie, right? :P) and I fell in love with him instantly. I loved how he acted his character, I loved his character, Tyler Gage, and I was so amazed and absolutely LOVED his dance skills. I was pretty much stunned by him. Then I saw ‘She’s The Man‘ and I fell in love with him more… and then I found this fabulous website, Channing Tatum Unwrapped, and I fell in love with him even MORE!!!!
People in Japan don’t know Chan as well as in other parts of the world. We don’t even have a website for Chan. I wanted to increase more Channing Tatum fans in Japan, so I built up my website, STOMP, as an unofficial fan site of Channing Tatum. Before I knew CTU, I knew nothing about Chan. I only knew that he was an American actor and that he was super hot. :9 To get information about Chan, I googled “Channing Tatum” and I was fortunate enough to find this fabulous website, CTU. This was where I learned more about Chan and where I started to love more about Chan. I was happy how Quishe was such a genius to get the latest updates about Chan and catch the heart of Chan’s fans and what a kind welcome CTU family gave it to me.

Why does Channing Tatum Unwrapped think that this fan belongs in the Fab Fan Spotlight?
In addition to being Chan’s biggest fan in Japan, Faith has been a huge supporter of Channing Tatum Unwrapped. Because I intimately understand what it takes to create and maintain a fan site, I’m most impressed by her creation of STOMP. I only know English, thus CTU is an English only site. It’s really incredible that she has created a site that is primarily in written in Japanese, making Chan more accessible in that part of the world. Recently, she even created an English version of her site, so now she is maintaining two fan site’s. This award is my small way of thanking Faith for her efforts, because they are truly appreciated.
Thanks Faith for letting me profile you and for taking the time to share all of your info with the other readers!
As the subject of the Fab Fan Spotlight, Faith is able to pick a custom-made poster of Channing Tatum courtesy of Channing Tatum Unwrapped! Faith’s Fab Fan Spotlight prize will be sent to her.
Finally, Faith ’s Fab Fan Spotlight profile will be added on the right side of the blog so other Channing Fans can learn about her from any page on the site. Feel free to send your congrats to Faith in the comments on this entry!
Do you want to be in the Fab Fan Spotlight? I will choose and interview readers who have contributed to the Channing Tatum Unwrapped and the Channing Tatum fan community by submitting Pictures of the Week, Videos of the Week, Comments, Graphics, etc. and/or by having groups, profiles, or sites that they made for Channing and his fans. Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan Spotlight: Special Anniversary Edition
January 1, 2008
Seeing as it is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY (had to put it in all caps because it’s THAT cool) for Channing Tatum Unwrapped (aka CTU) there has been a little change of plans. If you don’t know already I am NOT Quishe (the beautiful “young” person you see in the picture below). I am CTU’s Big Joker Teddy Bear and the one the only Alex (a.k.a. alexthegreat). For the One Year Anniversary, CTU readers decided it was time we learned about the Queen Bee herself.
Now, I went and asked the hardcore Chan Family their die-hard scandalous questions for the lovely Mrs. Q and went in for the kill on a lovely soon-to-be winter day. I enter a lovely veranda where I find her sitting sipping some lovely English tea as she stares out into the small pond behind her home in (name has been removed for her protection) and she smiles brightly at me as I walk over and join her. I am not much of a tea drinker myself so instead I ask her butler to bring me some coffee. As he walks away her eyes twinkle and…Okay, I’m kidding.
Sounded good though, didn’t it? Truth: gathered all the questions, put all the good (and appropriate) ones into an email, and sent them to her. Big surprise. Well, without further ado, I present to you…LaQuishe!

1. What made you first notice Channing, and what made you start up a website for him, and did you ever think your blog would go this far?
I’m a sucker for dance movies. I was sitting in a movie theater in August of 2007 looking at the opening scene of ‘Step Up’ when this gorgeous guy dances onto the screen. I honestly could not take my eyes off for the rest of the film. I loved the entire movie so much that I almost stayed to see it again, but sadly had to go home.Although I rarely ever buy DVD’s, I promised myself that I would get the ‘Step Up’ DVD as soon as the film came out. I proceeded to rent or buy all of Chan’s previous films that I could get my hands on, and I got ‘Step Up’ the day it came out in December. When I watched the extras on the DVD, I started to get a sense of who Chan was as a person. He just seemed really down-to-earth and cool, so like a lot of fans, I started searching online to learn more about him.
I found a ton of fan sites, but I really wanted to learn more about Channing than just the events he attended or the fact that he was extremely attractive. I started CTU because I wanted an outlet to be able to let everyone know why I was a fan and why they should be one too. I wanted to make a site that was updated everyday and allowed people to have fun in between all of the facts. I also wanted to involve the fans and include information for them for every country where his movies are shown. Mostly I just wanted to create a site that I as a fan would want to read daily and create a community that everyone would enjoy hanging out in.
I called the site Channing Tatum Unwrapped, because I knew there was so much more beneath the surface of Channing’s gorgeous outer façade. I wanted to help fans around the world also appreciate the talented actor and good person that Chan seemed to be. Although I didn’t know exactly how I would do it, I also wanted to get fans the inside scoop on his projects when possible. I definitely feel like I’ve accomplished those goals this year.
If you had told me when I started CTU that less than a year later I would have over 350,000 visitors, would be Chan’s official site, and would meet Chan on the set of one of his films, I would have thought you were seriously off your rocker. I’m a big planner and I didn’t plan any of this. So many amazing things have happened this year that I truly can’t wait to see what the future holds for CTU.
2. Other than meeting Channing, what is your favorite aspect of running the OFFICIAL Channing Tatum website?
It’s really hard to pick, because I love so much about this blog. I truly enjoy getting to know the fans all around the world. I feel like I can go to almost any city in the world and meet up with a friend I’ve met on CTU. That was definitely an unexpected and welcome result of creating this blog.I’ve also learned by doing this blog is that I LOVE writing. It’s been a really great creative outlet for me. I love coming up with ideas for the blog, researching and writing articles, and reading people’s reactions. I enjoy being able to share inside scoops with fans that they may not find anywhere else. For example, being able to break the story that Chan was going to have a cameo in ‘Step Up 2: The Steets’ was amazing. I knew the fans would flip out, because up until that point, we all thought he was not going to be in the film.
3. Besides nervous, how else did you feel when you (finally) met Chan?
When you’ve written well over 600 articles about someone you’ve never met in person, it can be really scary to meet them for the first time. I was honestly worried that he may be different from what I thought he was like.
The major emotion I felt when I met Chan was actually relief. He turned out to be everything I thought he was times 10, so I was really happy that all of those compliments did not go to waste. Honestly, it would have been a little awkward if I was wrong.
![]()
I was also relieved to finally be able to say that I had actually met him. I get that question all of the time and I really hated to have to answer no. Finally meeting Chan is definitely an experience I will never forget and will be telling random people on the street about for many years to come. ;-D
4. Being a career mom; how do you juggle family, work, and CTU?
Other people are golf or workout fanatics. Well, my name is Q and I’m a blog fanatic. I recently
took a new position, so a typical day for me is to get up at 5AM to work on the blog before I get ready for work. I will write/research articles, change the Song and Pic of the Day, maintain the MySpace page, answer fan questions on IMDB, etc.. During lunch, I’ll sometimes post articles or chat with fans on the site. When I get home, I’ll spend time with my family and after they go to sleep I often work on the blog a little more to get ready for the next day. It makes for a hectic day. When you love something (as I do my family and the blog), you may get very little sleep, but you make it work.
5. If you could change or do something different to the blog (even though you can, but go with me here), what would it be?
One of these days I may do a more drastic redesign of the site. I may even change it into a more traditional web site. Honestly though, I really like the fact that it’s a blog and is different from what you usually see on official sites. I figure if Perez Hilton can make it work, so can I.
6. Channing, like any other celebrity, has his own share of gossip and rumors, which one do you dislike the most?
One of the big things I like to do with the site is to squash silly gossip and rumors. I dislike anything that is written or said about Chan that misrepresents who he is as a person and/or disparages his character in any way. The rumor that has bothered me more than anything over the past year is that he has profiles on the social networking sites. You sadly have tons of posers on social networking sites (i.e. MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, Friendster) and instant messaging sites (i.e. AIM, YM, MSN) pretending to be Channing. I take every opportunity I can to let fans know that none of those people are him. I sound like a broken record at this point, but once again, Channing does not maintain a profile on any of the social networking sites and that person that is instant messaging you claiming to be Chan is 100% not Channing Tatum.
7. If there was one thing of Chan’s that you could have/own, what would it be? (I’m just repeating what they tell me.)
I love Chan’s sense of style. He wore these really unique shoes to the Film Independent Spirit Awards in February 2007 that I like a lot.
I also really liked the men’s black leather bracelet he wore to the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 2′ premiere in 2006.
8. How do you choose the Fab Fan, and are you liking your own?
Channing has the most amazing fan base all over the world. CTU would not be anything without the readers who really make the site feel like a family and who take the time to chat on the CBox, join the forum, create fan sites, MySpace pages, Facebook groups, graphics, videos, and anything else you can think of to show their love for Channing.I started the Fab Fan Spotlight, because I wanted to give the die-hard fans an opportunity to share with all of us why they love Channing so much. I think readers enjoy learning about each other, and I think it’s fun to see that no matter where a fan lives, what language they speak, how old or young they are, we all can come to CTU and have fun learning about the one thing we all have in common. The coolest thing about it is that anyone can be a Fab Fan as long as they love Channing and contribute to his fan community in a positive and respectful way.
Honestly doing this Fab Fan Spotlight is a little weird for me. I not used to talking about myself a lot on the blog, but I feel really honored that the regular readers are interested in learning a little more about who I am. It definitely makes me feel special and that’s how I hope the Fab Fan Spotlight makes readers feel when they are chosen each month.
9. What is your ultimate dream job?
From the age of 10, I wanted to work with computers when I grew up, because I’ve always loved technology. I was lucky enough to be able to achieve that dream. After starting the blog and seeing how much I also love writing and everything I do with the blog to promote Channing and his projects, I have to say that my dreams have taken an unexpected shift. The more I do this site, the more I learn about the Entertainment industry. Visiting Chan on set allowed be to see the process behind all of the glitz and glamour and it was a priceless opportunity to see how the director, cast and crew worked together to create a film. It was an eye-opening experience that I think would be awesome to be a part of one day.
I’m a techie geek at heart, but the blog has allowed me to merge all of my technical and people skills, my new love of writing, and my fascination with the entertainment industry and pop culture. It’s honestly made me rethink my dream job, which I have to say is now a work-in-progress.
What I do know is that it’s a great feeling to be able to do what you love and also be able to support a person like Channing at the same time. Honestly, without CTU, who knows when or if I would have figured out this new passion, so I thank Chan for being my muse in that respect.
So maybe when I grow up I’ll end up being some sort of producer or manager or publicist. Who knows? CTU has taught me that the possibilities are endless and that’s what I love most about life.
10. If you had to choose between your dream job as Chan’s assistant and world peace, what would it be and why?
OK it would be a lot of fun to be Chan’s assistant. I’m sure there are people who would actually kill for the job. He is such a non-diva and is so easy to work with, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to go with Team World Peace on this one.I’m thinking I don’t really have to explain why, but to put it simply…I would really like my children to grow up in a world free of the atrocities we see today. Although I love me some Channing (which is evident if you read CTU), I’m going to have to choose the greater good in this case.

Why does CTU believe Q is the freaking coolest?
Did you not just read what she wrote? Do I even have to keep going? LaQuishe (a.k.a. Quishe) (a.k.a. Q) is one of the greatest people I, or anyone for that matter (*hint* *hint* Chan), have ever met. She created a site for the one
and only Channing Tatum and came out with a home for millions of fans across the globe. I have never met anyone so dedicated in the work they do and so sweet and loving. She really does an awesome, AWESOME job with CTU and I, along with the millions mentioned before, thank her for all the hard work she does. Not once have I heard her complaining. She really is “for the fans” and I personally think Chan is really lucky that she found him and is helping him.
Hey, Chan, if you’re reading this, remember how in an interview you said that you are really lucky that so many great people have come into your life at the right time? (pulls out a sign with an arrow pointing at Q)
Back to the fans: as you can most likely already see, she is not selfish and doesn’t deny access to anyone. Everyone is welcome to the CTU family (after you get past me), and if you’re lucky you’ll be able to get to met the God sent angel herself. Q, you already know I love you and so does everyone else from the Chan Fam. You are the one person I have learned to trust and trust completely, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart (as if that means something…just kidding). Without you there is no CTU for you ARE CTU.
What might have been a fan site to begin with has become so much more than that and I know with all my heart and soul that one day you will achieve everything you dream of because you deserve them. I believe that there are angels among us, and I fully believe you are one of them. Every person who has crossed your path has been very fortunate indeed, and though he doesn’t know it yet, Chan is the luckiest of all to have someone like you behind him. So, before I get any mushier, I would like to say congratulations, Quishe. One year down, so many more to go, and I’ll be standing right beside you.

Favorite Channing Tatum Picture and Why?:
As all of you may know, choosing just one favorite Channing picture is tough, but a decision has to be made and I chose this picture as one of my favorites. What I like most about this picture are his eyes. He has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen on a person. They are nice. green. and sparkly with the power to paralyze me lol!
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
OK another toughie but I will have to go with ‘She’s the Man‘. I enjoyed watching him in a comedy and I thought this movie was ridiculously funny.
Favorite Channing Tatum Scene and Why?:
All of them. As long as he is standing there breathing and talking it’s all fine with me LOL. Actually one of my favorite scenes is a deleted scene from ‘She’s The Man‘. If anyone has seen the deleted scenes it is the one where Duke and Viola are dancing at the debutante ball and Duke asked Viola if she ever checked out his butt (or something like that).
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie Quote and Why?:
“Do you like cheese?” It’s funny and it’s random and if you know me you will know I love anything random, (which is why I get along with CTU Reader Ayshi so well) and the reason I asked the toothpaste question hahaha (oops…yes that was me) although that was seriously a joke…maybe.
Favorite Upcoming Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
Hmm….. ‘Stop-Loss‘ because I want to see Chan cry lol. Not that I am mean or anything I just think it’s cute. I melt and I feel like giving him a big ol’ hug.
Have you ever met Channing?:
*clears throat* why yes I have *smiles* …..well I didn’t exactly “Meet” him since I couldn’t talk to him (we can thank Terrance Howard’s body guard for that) but I did get to see him along with CTU readers Kerline and Alex when he was here in New York filming ‘Fighting’. I was about two steps away from him (after Kerline managed to literally drag me across the street so we could approach him) and just as Kerline opened her mouth to call out his name and get his attention….. the body guard told us to move. *rolls eyes*. Anyways it doesn’t matter because just being close to him was good enough for me. Kerline did manage (some how) to record him on my video camera, but I still need to figure out how to get that on the computer. That day was definitely unforgettable. I got to hang out for six hours with Alex and Kerline while we all watched Channing filming from across the street. XD
Why are you a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan?:
From what I can tell Channing is really genuine and sweet. Everyone who has met him has nothing but amazing things to say about him. He is an amazing actor that needs all our support. From the moment I came to this site back in May and from the very first time I joined the Cbox in June I haven’t been able to separate myself from this blog. I have met so many great people here thanks to Chan (and Quishe for making this amazing site). We are all truly a family here. I love how most of us are very protective of each other and Chan. We will turn into ferocious beasts when we need to. LOL JK… that is only Naz.
Why does Channing Tatum Unwrapped think that this fan belongs in the Fab Fan Spotlight?
I was lucky enough to meet Marlie in person with her cousin Kerline and friend Jenny when I visited New York recently. Even prior to my trip I knew that she was one of the sweetest and most genuine people that I have ever met. She and I have become great friends through this blog, and I truly appreciate it when she helps me by monitoring the CBox and making sure users are following the rules when on it. Marlie has become an irreplaceable fixture at CTU, not only because she is such a huge fan of Channing’s, but also because she has really embraced what CTU is all about. When I created this blog, I set out to create a community where Channing’s fans could come, hang out, make friends, and have fun. Marlie not only reads the site religiously to keep up with Channing’s where-abouts, but she has made a ton of friends around the world and stays connected with them through the site. Marlie is 100% what CTU is all about and totally deserves this spotlight!
Thanks Marlie for letting me profile you and for taking the time to share all of your info with the other readers!
As the subject of the Fab Fan Spotlight, "font-weight:bold;color:rgb(204, 0, 0);">Marlie is able to pick a custom-made poster of Channing Tatum courtesy of Channing Tatum Unwrapped! Marlie’s Fab Fan Spotlight prize will be sent to her.
Finally, Marlie ’s Fab Fan Spotlight profile will be added on the right side of the blog so other Channing Fans can learn about her from any page on the site. Feel free to send your congrats to Marlie in the comments on this entry!
I am currently choosing the next Fab Fan Spotlighter, so be on the lookout for an email from me requesting an interview and the next FFS might just be you!

Favorite Channing Tatum Picture and Why?:
This is where the torture begins, decisions decisions. ARGH!!!! ….. OK, I am going with the picture I use for my MSN, YM and CBox profile. Why do I like this one, well I love all his pictures but I went with this one because you can see that Chan is a joker, something which is a must in my opinion. If you don’t have a sense of humor, life would be pretty dull. You can sense that Chan is a fun person to be around with, someone you would want to keep close to you.
Another reason why I like this picture so much is because his eyes
really stand out. They’re just so green and luscious. It’s like you can see into his soul, if you know what I mean, if not oh well, can’t explain it. And finally I loved this picture because Chan took it himself, which just goes to show what kind of person he is, taking the time to take this picture, he is just amazing. Wow, 1 decision made, more to make, on I go.
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
AHHHH!!!!, my favourite Chan movie, you have no idea how hard I am finding this, but I must go on. Ok, I am going to cheat on this one, because I can’t possibly choose just one movie. All of them are just too good in there own way. I love Havoc because Chan was just basically standing and breathing, couldn’t be bothered to watch the whole movie, just replayed his part, the rest didn’t matter. This is the one movie I haven’t let my cousins or my little brother watch, and they never will!! Sadly, still haven’t watched Supercross, but I’m sure it’s great, after all Chan is in it. OMG, She’s The Man was so funny, didn’t stop laughing I found it that hilarious. This is the movie I watch when I need a good laugh, never get tired of it, Chan, Amanda, Robert Hoffman & co great combination. This is also the first movie I saw Chan in. Coach Carter, what can I say, Chan’s character Lyle tried to be the tough guy, but you can see that deep inside he was a softy. Even with a big cast, Chan still stood out, I loved how his character stood up for Timo, even though they didn’t get along. Step Up, I love dance movies, I admire the time and effort people put into making these sorts of films. This was also Chan’s first lead role, so got to see him a lot more, extra bonus. The chemistry between Jenna and himself was electrifying, you could really see they hit it off. Loved all the dance scenes, just amazing. Then we have A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints, one word WOW! Chan was just explosive in this. He really showed his acting abilities in this one. This is a must see definitely for all Chan’s, it’s such a powerful movie. And then we come to The Trap, after months of waiting and waiting, we finally got to see Chan, TOPLESS THROUGHOUT, PHWOAR!!! I know he was only in it for a few minutes, but it was a very good few minutes, well worth the wait. Wait no, waiting for movies is torture!!!! Next one in February 2008, GRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Favorite Channing Tatum Scene and Why?:
Just so you know, decided to cheat here to, you can’t make me choose, well made me choose once, but that’s it.
She’s The Man – Got to be the gym scene that was just so hilarious. Him flicking open his mobile and then banging his head, trying to act cool…classic. Then he does that little dance, so cute, LOL. The spider scene came a close second, watching Chan scream, LMAO.
Coach Carter – Going with the locker room scene, where he’s wearing nothing apart from a towel, enough said!!
Step Up – This one is difficult, let me think…. the scene straight after the dance club scene with Jenna, you saw the sensitive side to his character Tyler, him kind of letting his guard down, and just giving in.
A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints – Another difficult one, mmm…. a can’t pick just one scene, the whole movie as a whole is awesome, so dramatic.
Favorite Channing Tatum Movie Quote and Why?:
I am going to choose a quote from all his movies, well going to try anyway.
She’s The Man – ‘Be not afraid of greatness, some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them’, this is such a powerful quote, had this as my MSN signature for a long time. No matter who you are or what you are, everyone is great in their own way.
Coach Carter – ‘When one person struggles, we all struggle, when one person triumphs, we all triumph’, the turning point in the movie, it’s when the whole team really became one, when one of their own needed help, they were all their to take the slack.
Step Up –’There are a lot of things that I want now, that I didn’t use to, I even catch myself every once in a while actually thinking I can have them’ , he proclaims his love for Nora, finally!
A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints – Yeah, don’t thin
k I can really put any quotes for this one, it would probably go something like this, ‘Bleep bleep bleep’, LOL.
Favorite Upcoming Channing Tatum Movie and Why?:
Hey, how come I get an extra question to answer, you must really love to torture me. Favourite upcoming movies, I think you guys can guess what I am going to say, ALL OF THEM!!! Step Up 2 The Streets, I know it’s only a cameo, but it’s a great cameo, that dance scene is out of this world, and I can’t wait to see the full dance. Got to give Chan his dues, he done good. I think he brought a little something to the film. Battle In Seattle, love a man in a uniform, and guess what, Chan is in a uniform, way cool. And that’s not the only movie where he’s in a uniform, there’s also Stop Loss, cant wait for this one, Chan crying, poor baby, I know a lot of people who would’ve loved to just give him a hug. And finally we come to Fighting, even though I think they’re still filming, can sense this is going to be another great movie. Although watching Chan get hurt, yeah not looking forward to that part at all, but oh well.
Have you ever met Channing?:
If you’re asking about physically meeting Chan, then sadly no. But he’s always in my dreams, which for know will have to do until I ever meet him, not that I think I will. Although a lot of people seem to think I will, maybe they know something I don’t, if so, spill people because it’s not nice keeping secrets, especially if it involves me!
Why are you a Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan?:
Why am I fabulous CT fan, mmm…… well, don’t know if I’m a fabulous fan, I’m just a regular fan, nothing special. On to why I am a Channing Tatum fan, maybe I should start from the beginning and how I fell in love with him. You guys should probably get comfortable, might be a long one, LOL.
It all started last year in April when I bought She’s The Man, I found it really hilarious, Duke WOW HOT (at this moment in time, sadly I didn’t know who Channing was, just the person on screen). He was just amazing and the way he played football (football = soccer, and for those who don’t know me I’m a really into football so it made me fall in love with him immediately). I then came across him in Coach Carter, still didn’t know who he really was, just knew he was sexy as hell. I kept watching the two movies again and again, and my love for Chan grew so much it felt like I was going to explode. Then came the movie that was to change all this, the movie that really blew my mind, Step Up. His first lead major role, he was just breath taking, everything about him just made me melt. Watching him play Tyler, made me believe that anything is possible if you just believe in yourself. Step Up gave me the desire to look Chan up (which was so much more easier at this point, as I now had broadband whereas before had dial up). I searched high and low, anything about him, found some interesting things, which later turned out to be false!!
I then came across this marvellous site. It was March 07. Read all the posts, went through all the pictures, kept going back up to 20 times a day, I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was just what I was looking for. What is this site which I’m talking about, well it is CTU of course, DUH! At this moment didn’t have the courage to come on the chat box and talk to complete strangers, but seeing that I knew no one who liked him, not even my friends ( which should be illegal, but anyway), signed on the CBox in late July, and have never really left since. I am totally hooked on here, I’m on 24/7 practically (as most of you all have noticed). I now kind of live, breath and eat Chan (not literally, but you know what I mean). I’ve made a great group of friends, everyone here are like a family, we’re here for one another, for the good and the bad. We back each other up and we listen to each other, we may fight (for the most part, it’s all pretend) but that’s what family do. And this is all down to Chan, because without him, we would never have met each other, and Q would never had made this awesome blog that none of us can live without (Thanks Q, you rock!!).
I feel like I’ve gotten to know the real Chan, through reading all the posts and encounters. He has such commitment and strength, something we all should strive for. I admire him so much, he’s not like other actors/ actresses out there, he’s not out there like some people are. He cares for his fans and you can see he is so family driven, the way he is with Jenna and his family, is kind of rare these days. He has this feel good factor, that just makes you want to follow his every foots step. He is the only actor I’ve ever actually gone to the trouble of finding out all that I can. I wish all the best for the future and here’s to hoping a long successful career. I don’t know whether I mentioned this, but I LOVE CHANNING MATTHEW TATUM, HE’S DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!!
I am also very proud to say that I am a member of the ‘Crazy, Weird, Freaky Chanaholic Chatterbox Society Club’ with a severe case of CHANMANIA, along with all my fellow Chantastic Chanaholics, and I love all you guys and I am so glad to be a part of this community.
I did warn you guys this would be long, but I hope it’s been a good read. Would just like to say that this has been very difficult for me, 1 making me choose, which I hate, and 2 having to write in regular English, which no longer comes easily for me. Sorry to anyone who prefers my other style, but I had to, for the good of the Chan Fam.
Why does Channing Tatum Unwrapped think that this fan belongs in the Fab Fan Spotlight?
First of all, I have never laughed so much while creating a Fab Fan post. Naz is one of the funniest people I have had the pleasure of knowing, and she has become such an irreplaceable part of the CTU community. The reason why I chose her this month goes beyond her great sense of humor and the fact that she has written the longest Fab Fan Spotlight in CTU history.
I often have found Naz on the chat box greeting new fans, helping them learn the ropes of the site, answering Channing questions from the things she has learned on the site and elsewhere, and encouraging fans to get involved in the community via the forum. She even recently volunteered to create Channing’s Christmas video and is already working hard on the project. It’s readers like Naz that really make the CTU community feel like a second family for so many fans (me included). I would truly like to thank Naz for everything that she does, because it does not go unnoticed.
Thanks Naz for letting me profile you and for taking the time to share all of your info with the other readers!
As the subject of the Fab Fan Spotlight, Naz is able to pick a custom-made poster of Channing Tatum courtesy of Channing Tatum Unwrapped! Naz’s Fab Fan Spotlight prize will be sent to her.
Finally, Naz’s Fab Fan Spotlight profile will be added on the right side of the blog so other Channing Fans can learn about her from any page on the site. Feel free to send your congrats to Naz in the comments on this entry!
I am currently choosing the next Fab Fan Spotlighter, so be on the lookout for an email from me requesting an interview and the next FFS might just be you!
