Back in 2010 (while filming ‘The Dilemma‘ in Chicago), Channing Tatum walked onto Wrigley field in his #33 jersey and threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Cubs game. The busy actor/producer continued another long-time sports tradition in front of the Steeler Nation at Pittsburgh’s Heinz field today!
Chan, who’s in town filming the drama ‘Foxcatcher’, helped turn Heinz field into a sea of black and gold by leading the iconic Terrible Towel Twirl with his management team, trainer, the “My Pittsburgh Steelers” fan contest winner Theodore M. Broadnax, and the movie’s director Bennett Miller.
Impressed with the enthusiasm of the Steelers fans, Chan told reporters…
“Pulling up to the stadium and watching all of the black and gold flooding toward the epicenter of what is happening today is crazy. I have been in the city for two months and I have never seen a city that flies the colors of their city like they do here. Their black and gold is our red, white and blue.”
After the game he tweeted…
