It’s been an incredible year for Channing Tatum, and on the heels of such huge hits this year as ‘The Vow‘, ‘21 Jump Street‘ and ‘Magic Mike‘, he has yet another big project lined up! In Columbia Pictures’ ‘WHITE HOUSE DOWN‘, Chan will play a secret service agent who must stop a paramilitary takeover of the White House.
The supporting cast is full of Hollywood heavyweights like Jamie Foxx (who plays the role of the president), as well as James Woods, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Richard Jenkins, ‘Twilight’s Rachelle Lefevre, and rising young star Joey King, who will play Chan’s daughter, a hostage in the crisis.
‘WHITE HOUSE DOWN‘ is helmed by blockbuster director Roland Emmerich (‘Independence Day’, ‘The Patriot’) and began shooting in Montreal in August. Described as a ”Die Hard in the White House,” this is going to be one heck of a fun action flick!
Entertainment Tonight recently sat down with Chan, Jamie, and Roland for a special on set look behind the scenes of the film.
