Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum helped raise millions more for the preservation of the Rainforest and its indigenous people and stole the show Step Up-style at New York City’s Carnegie Hall during a special charity concert for the Rainforest Foundation last week!
In front of esteemed guests and fellow performers such as Bill Clinton, Meryl Streep, Elton John, Rita Wilson, Sting and Jennifer Hudson, the beautiful couple performed a steamy routine to Roxanne (courtesy of Welsh bass-baritone opera and concert singer Bryn Terfel) which showed off their impressive dance skills during the “Songs of the Silver Screen” charity event.
Chan even took to the stage as backup dancer to Sir Elton John for a hilarious rendition of “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”, and when Elton John sang ‘Rock Around the Clock’ and Bruno Mars did ‘Heartbreak Hotel’, the whole cast – from Sting to Streep to Chan and Jenna – all did the Twist!!
Here’s a few of exclusive pics from the rehearsals and the night of the event…
Proceeds from the 2012 Revlon Concert For The Rainforest Fund benefited the Rainforest Foundation, who’s goal is to support indigenous and traditional people of the world’s rainforests in their efforts to protect their environment and fulfill their rights.
