AS SEEN ON TV: Channing Tatum’s Drama ‘The Eagle’ Premieres on HBO on New Year’s Eve!!!

Thanks to Deviant Art user and fan puppeteer7 for creating the drawing above that features Channing Tatum in his Roman era drama ‘The Eagle‘!

Fans will be able to ring in the new year with Chan when the film makes its premium cable television debut on HBO and HBO GO at at 7PM Central TOMORROW!!!

If you haven’t gotten to see the film yet, here’s a synopsis…

In 140 AD, two men – master and slave – venture beyond the edge of the known world on a dangerous and obsessive quest that will push them beyond the boundaries of loyalty and betrayal, friendship and hatred, deceit and heroism…The Roman epic adventure THE EAGLE stars Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell and is directed by Academy Award winner Kevin Macdonald. 20 years earlier, Rome’s 5,000-strong Ninth Legion, under the command of Flavius Aquila, marched north carrying their treasured golden Eagle emblem. They never returned; Legion and Eagle simply vanished into the mists. Hearing a rumor that the Eagle has been seen in a tribal temple in the far north, Flavius’ son Marcus (Tatum), determined to restore the tarnished reputation of his father, is galvanized into action. Accompanied only by his slave Esca (Bell), Marcus sets out into the vast and dangerous highlands of Scotland – to confront its savage tribes, make peace with his father’s memory, and retrieve the hallowed Eagle. Along the way Marcus realizes that the mystery of his father’s disappearance may well be linked to the secret of his own slave’s identity and loyalty – a secret all the more pressing when the two come face-to-face with the warriors of the fearsome Seal Prince (Tahar Rahim).

Check Out the New Production Still, Poster and TV Spot for Channing Tatum’s ‘Haywire’

Channing Tatum’s action film ‘Haywire‘ will hit US and UK theaters on January 20, 2012, and the studio just released a new production still of Chan, official poster, and TV Spot!

‘Haywire‘ is a dynamic action-thriller directed by Oscar® winner Steven Soderbergh (Traffic) boasts a talented cast that includes Chan, Ewan McGregor (The Ghost Writer), Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class), Antonio Banderas (The Legend of Zoro), Bill Paxton (“Big Love”), Michael Douglas (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps), Michael Angarano (Almost Famous); and introduces mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Gina Carano as Mallory Kane, in a demanding lead role that has her performing her own high-adrenaline stunts.

Mallory Kane is a highly trained operative who works for a government security contractor in the dirtiest, most dangerous corners of the world. After successfully freeing a Chinese journalist held hostage, she is double crossed and left for dead by someone close to her in her own agency. Suddenly the target of skilled assassins who know her every move, Mallory must find the truth in order to stay alive.

Using her black-ops military training, she devises an ingenious—and dangerous—trap. But when things go haywire, Mallory realizes she’ll be killed in the blink of an eye unless she finds a way to turn the tables on her ruthless adversary.

Chan filmed his role in Barcelona, Spain and New Mexico in February and March of 2010 and will play Aaron, one of the elite specialists on Carano’s team. His character is a military gearhead-type who’s sent to try and bring her back in once she’s been double-crossed.

FIRST LOOK: Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello in ‘MAGIC MIKE’

It’s a Veeeery Meeeerry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah for Channing Tatum fans around the world!!! As a present to you all Warner Bros. just released the first official image (featuring Chan, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey, and Kevin Nash on the Xquisite stage) and synopsis for the movie ‘Magic Mike‘ via Collider.com!

‘Magic Mike‘ is a story of friendship set in the world of exotic male dancing and is inspired by (but not based on) Chan’s experiences at a Chippendales-style revue early in his career. Chan plays the main character (Mike), who mentors a young dancer (The Kid) played by Alex Pettyfer and teaches him the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.

In addition to Chan, Alex, Joe, Kevin, and Matthew (who plays Dallas, a retired dancer and the owner of the club), the movie also stars Olivia Munn (Magic Mike’s love interest), Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez, Gabriel Iglesias (the club’s DJ), Riley Keough, Cody Horn (Magic Mike’s sister), Wendi McLendon-Covey, ‘Bridesmaids’ actress Betsy Brandt and ‘The Change-Up’ actress Mircea Monroe as the girlfriend of Matt Bomer’s character.

‘Magic Mike‘ is produced by Chan, his producing partner Reid Carolin (who also wrote the screenplay) via their production company, Iron Horse Productions, Nick Wechsler and Gregory Jacobs, and is helmed by Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh.

The film was shot in Los Angeles and Florida in September and October, and a few weeks ago, Chan was spotted between scenes on the Los Angeles, CA set of the dramatic comedy with his production partner Reid Carolin, co-stars Olivia Munn and Codi Horn and his manager Bill Choi during a 2-day reshoot.

My set visit was interesting, to say the least. My advice is…get your tickets as soon as they go on sale, because I have no doubt ‘Magic Mike‘ is going to sell out a ton of theaters when it hits cinemas June 29, 2012!

Join Channing Tatum and ‘THE VOW’ in “An Evening of Your Vows” on Constellation!!

You’re all invited to a very special screening…Channing Tatum is hosting “An Evening of Your Vows” on Constellation.TV! Chan will be participating in the live, interactive online movie screening of fan-submitted “Vows” along with special clips from his movie ‘THE VOW‘ (in theaters February 10th).

Last month, fans shared their vows with Chan on Twitter. To give you an idea of what kind of vows you could submit for this event, here’s a few that Chan retweeted…

1) Make a video or take a picture that captures your vow or a promise you made to a loved one.
2) Describe your vow in 500 words or less.
3) Share your vow on Constellation. Submission Deadline = January 31, 2012

MOVIE NEWS: New Poster, Music, Interview and Trailer from Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill’s ‘21 Jump Street’

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill’s action-comedy ‘21 Jump Street‘ just released the first poster for the film! The new one sheet features characters Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum)…two guys who join the police force’s secret Jump Street unit and use their youthful appearances to go undercover in a local high school.

The eager rookies trade in their guns and badges for backpacks and risk their lives to investigate a violent and dangerous drug ring while having to deal with all of the teenage issues they thought they left back in high school just a few years earlier.

Every time a new trailer comes out, fans often ask “What’s that song playing?”. Thanks to the December 16, 2011 issue of Entertainment Weekly, we now know…

“Two rookie-cop doofballs (Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill) step into Johnny Depp’s undercover “Who, me? I’m just a 29-year-old high school junior with a handgun” shoes for this big-screen revamp. Soundtracking their triumphant return to fake teendon: Canadian electro duo MSTRKRFT’s wall vibrating banger ‘Bounce.’”

Fans can find “BOUNCE” on MSTRKRFT’s 2009 album Fist of God, and you can learn even more about Schmidt and Jenko in a new on set interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz. Jonah and Chan talk about how their misfit cop characters “complete one another” in the comedy…
