Sony just released the second trailer and a new official site for Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams’ love story ‘The Vow‘ today (just in time for Rachel’s birthday)! Here’s the wonderful tear-worthy new trailer courtesy of MTV…
‘The Vow‘ is based on the real-life love story of the Mom and Dad Kim and Krickitt Carpenter who were married in 1993. Two months after their marriage, the couple’s car was hit from behind by a truck, leaving Krickitt in a coma and with amnesia after coming out of the coma. They later chronicled their story in a book called “The Vow: The Kim and Krickitt Carpenter Story‘).
The film features a newlywed couple (Leo and Paige) that recovers from a car accident that puts the wife in a coma. Waking up with severe memory loss, her husband works hard to win her heart again.
Screen Gems Studios is co-financing the movie with Spyglass Entertainment (who’s both producing and distributing the Michael Sucsy-directed film). Sucsy, who directed HBO’s award-winning film ‘Grey Gardens’, also rewrote the movie’s script.
Fans can get more information on the film from their official Facebook, Twitter, and new website (with videos, wallpapers, Twitter skins, Facebook profile pics and more). You can CLICK HERE to check out tons of CTU wallpapers and pics from the Toronto and Chicago sets.
