UNWRAPPED PHOTOS AND VIDEO: Jenna Dewan-Tatum on 2011 Summer TCA Tour for “The Playboy Club”

Jenna Dewan-Tatum, in dresses by Dolce & Gabbana and Moschino, participated in “The Playboy Club” panel during the NBC Universal portion of the 2011 Summer Television Critics Association (TCA) Tour at the Beverly Hilton Hotel today.

At the TCA’s, the television critics got to learn new details about Jenna’s show. The actors and producers on the panel talked about how “The Playboy Club” is about empowering the women who worked there, helping them determine who they can be and using the club to get there.

They also mentioned that musical numbers would be threaded throughout each episode, and the themes of the songs will correlate with the themes of the stories. The showrunners are mining 1960′s music for the show, so fans can expect songs by Sammy David Jr., Ray Charles, and Frank Sinatra in the soundtrack.

Producer Chad Hodge said, “You can’t tell the story of the Playboy Club without the presence of Hugh Hefner,” but we will only see an actor playing Hef from the back during the show.

The intrigue and mystery of “The Playboy Club” will be built around who the bunnies are beyond their jobs. On the panel, Jenna talked about what it was like to put on her bunny outfit for the first time, about one of the show’s characters, and about all of the buzz around the show…

“It was like playing dress up!…It is tight, constricting, there’s not a lot of [room for] drinking water…Billy’s curmudgeonly but watches over us. He throws the parties but can’t have fun at the parties…Everyone seems to be intrigued and excited about this show…it’s going to be good!”
