In case you missed today’s tweet from Jenna Dewan-Tatum, I wanted to let everyone know that her new western ‘The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy‘ will be premiering at the Dallas International Film Festival on April 1st and 7th and the Newport Beach Film Festival in April/May!
Jenna filmed the movie in late 2009 in north Texas, not too far from her hometown of Grapevine. During filming, her mom even dropped by set and fans can CLICK HERE to check out all of great behind-the-scenes photos that Jenna shared with her fans.
‘The Legend of Hell’s Gate‘ is written and directed by Tanner Beard. The film relives the story of how the expeditions and encounters of three outlaws through historical 1870s Texas were remembered for a lifetime. The film will also shed light on how ‘Hell’s Gate’ at Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas came to have it’s name. Fans can CLICK HERE or on the video below to check out Jenna in the trailer…
The DALLAS International Film Festival will run March 31 – April 10, 2011. With 157 films representing 26 countries, nine World Premieres and six US Premieres, the festival is heading into its 5th year with a wide-ranging slate of features and shorts that promise to appeal to film-lovers of all age-groups and ethnicities.
Film festival passes are currently on sale and individual film tickets go on sale March 17, 2011. Passes and tickets will be available via online and via phone at (214) 782-9168.
The 2011 NEWPORT BEACH Film Festival runs from April 28th to May 5th, 2011 and will spotlight over 350 films from 40 different countries around the world, including feature length narrative, documentary, short, animated and student films that will compete for a series of Jury, Festival Honors and Audience Awards. I will post exact screening times for ‘The Legend of Hell’s Gate‘ at the Newport Beach Film Festival festival when they are released.
For those of you wondering what Jenna is up to right now…She’s currently filming the highly anticipated NBC pilot “Playboy” in Chicago. The hardworking starlet will play an iconic bunny, and when she was prepping for the show last week she tweeted out a glimpse of her reading material…
“Playboy” is an hour-long drama set during the political and moral upheaval of the 1960s and is centered around the voluptuous ladies of the original Chicago Playboy Club.
Alan Taylor, who directed the first episode for AMC’s award-winning drama “Mad Men,” is directing the pilot, which also co-stars Eddie Cibrian, Laura Benanti, Amber Heard, Naturi Naughton, Leah Renee, David Krumholtz and Wes Ramsey. The show will hit the small screen some time this fall, so make sure you tune in!
