It seems like yesterday that I was in New York living the surreal life with Chan and Jenna during my ‘Son of No One‘ set visit. While I was there, Chan told me about a Ron Howard comedy he may work on with Vince Vaughn, which I couldn’t have been more excited to hear about!
Although he was anxious about working on a comedy (his comfort zone is in drama) and his agent was still working on the deal, Chan was already preparing for the role by setting up a meeting with New York-based trainer William J. Harris from Billion Dollar Bodies. Will worked with Chan when he filmed ‘Fighting‘ in 2007 by creating both a workout routine and diet for him to safely and quickly get lean. Chan had bulked up for his role in ‘Son of No One‘ and had very little time to get into “fighting” shape for this new film, so Will was the perfect solution.

Now partners in an auto design firm, the two pals are vying to land a dream project that would launch their company. With Ronny’s girlfriend, Beth (Connelly), and Nick’s wife, Geneva (Ryder), by their sides, they’re unbeatable. But Ronny’s world is turned upside down when he inadvertently sees Geneva out with another man and makes it his mission to get answers. As the amateur investigation dissolves his world into comic mayhem, he learns that Nick has a few secrets of his own. Now, with the clock ticking and pressure mounting on the biggest presentation of their careers, Ronny must decide how and when he will reveal the truth to his best friend.
