Jenna Dewan-Tatum has a busy day planned today. The starlet and new PETA spokesperson will be doing some advance press with E!’s Daily Ten and YoungHollywood.com and a photo shoot with Energy Muse in preparation for her upcoming campaign that is now going to launch on July 7th (aka next Wednesday).
Below and on yesterday’s post in the CTU Photo Gallery, we have some new pics of Jenna running errands in Beverly Hills on Monday in an adorable floral romper and sharing a hug with a homeless person she encountered on the street.
PopSugar’s Celebstyle also featured Jenna, decked out in her round-toe wedges and aviator sunglasses, on their site to show fans how you can get the summer-friendly look too. Enjoy!!!

More 2010 Teen Choice Awards Nominations Are In…Vote for Channing Tatum, ‘Dear John’, and ‘G.I. Joe’!!!

The 2010 Teen Choice Awards just announced wave two of their categories and nominees. In addition to his “Choice Movie: Actor Drama” nomination for ‘Dear John‘ and the “Choice Movie: Actor Action Adventure” nomination for ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘, Channing Tatum has gained a third nomination for the “Choice Movie: Chemistry” category with his ‘Dear John‘ co-star Amanda Seyfried!!!
Both ‘Dear John‘ and ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ have also been nominated in the “Choice Movie: Drama” and “Choice Movie: Action Adventure” categories too!
Once again, we all need to band together to help Chan and his films win their categories for this year’s awards.
The Show
Teen Choice 2010 will celebrate the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion in the star-studded two-hour event airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Grammy-nominated artist Katy “California Gurl” Perry is set to host this year’s event.
The Lineup
In the “Choice Movie: Drama” category (which Chan won in 2008), he’s competing against Jake Gyllenhaal (’Brothers’), Tobey Maguire (’Brothers’), Robert Pattinson (’Remember Me’) and Jeremy Renner (’The Hurt Locker’).
In the “Choice Movie: Action Adventure” category, Chan will be battling Nicolas Cage (’Kick-Ass’), Russell Crowe (’Robin Hood’), Matt Damon (’Green Zone’) and Robert Downey Jr. (’Sherlock Holmes’).
In the “Choice Movie: Chemistry” category, Chan and Amanda are up against Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds (’The Proposal’), Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth (’The Last Song’), Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift (’Valentine’s Day’), and Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (’The Twilight Saga: New Moon’).
The Voting
Fans ages 13-19 can vote for their favorite Teen Choice 2010 nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com. When you vote, you can make only one choice per category, per day, per email address, but you can (and should) vote EVERY DAY until August 6, 2010 to help Chan and his films win. Just so you know…Chan’s categories are located in the Movies section on the first page of voting, and the awards show does not require you to vote for every category for your vote to count.

VIDEOS OF THE WEEK: Chan and Jenna Ring Side at Cung Le’s Strikeforce Fight

If you’ve been reading CTU for a while, then you know that Channing Tatum is a HUGE MMA fan, and often attends fights with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
Chan and Cung Le (a kickboxer, mixed martial artist, and actor who is one of the top MMA fighters in the Strikeforce league) filmed ‘Fighting‘ together and have been good friends ever since. Chan not only trains with Cung, he also tries to sit ring side at all of his fights and last night was no different.
Channing Tatum and his “expert traveler” wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum met up in San Jose yesterday to support Cung in his highly-anticipated rematch against fellow MMA fighter Scott Smith. From her extremely close seat Jenna tweeted, “I’m so close! Hope I don’t get blood on me.”…

At this particular fight, Chan had an even closer view, because he was actually part of Cung’s corner team. In today’s Videos of the Week fans can see Chan around the 2 minute mark in a video from last night’s fight, giving an interview at Cung’s December 2009 fight, and training with Cung at his California gym. Enjoy!
Le went into this fight with a HUGE score to settle (since his last encounter with Smith resulted in a surprise loss). In last night’s fight, the MMA legend ended up dropping Smith with a spinning back kick before the fight was stopped, and Cung defeated Smith via TKO at 1:46 in the second round. Earlier this week I posted a new Life & Style Magazine article that featured Jenna Dewan-Tatum. In today’s post , we have another new article, but this time it comes to us courtesy of Instyle Magazine.
Jenna attended a private MAC/Alice + Olivia event wearing her favorite Le Dragon Dor bracelets last April. The party was held at Stacey Bendet’s Hollywood home where Fergie took over the turntables to celebrate MAC Cosmetics’ collaboration with Alice + Olivia for a makeup line.
In addition to Jenna, the Black Eyed Peas singer also spun tunes for guests like Jordana Brewster, Julie Benz, Anna Kendrick, Nicky Hilton, Kelly Osbourne, Audrina Patridge, Kelly Rutherford, and Twilight’s Nikki Reed. “Channing Tatum took a break from filming his new movie Cheaters (costarring Vince Vaughn) for a romantic meal with wife Jenna Dewan. The couple dined at Le Colonial, and sat at the bar for a dinner of chicken and broccoli. The couple also made time for other Chicago hot spots, including Wrigley Field, where they watched a Cubs game, and the nightclub Underground, where they “had a blast” dancing all evening.”

NEWS FLASH | Channing Tatum to Produce and Star in ‘Ion’ — Fox’s next ‘Avatar’?

It’s been almost a WHOLE week since the last new movie announcement for Channing Tatum, so we were LONG overdue. OK, I kid, I kid!!!
But what isn’t a joke is that THR’s Heat Vision Blog is reporting that Chan has been attached to yet another film, his second in less than week and his fourth in the past 3 months.
Four months ago,’Dear John‘ (which has made well over $100 million worldwide) was the first film to beat ‘Avatar‘ at the box office and now THR is reporting that Chan is attached to a new film that is being touted as Twentieth Century Fox’s next ‘Avatar‘. The new romantic, sci-fi film is called ‘Ion’ and here’s what they have to say about it…
“You can thank “Avatar” for Hollywood’s resurgent interest in sci-fi. Right now Fox, though its label Fox 2000, is getting ready to bet on sci-fi again and is the lead contender to pick up an original spec script by Will Dunn titled “Ion,” which is generating interest from several studios. Channing Tatum is attached to star in what is labeled a sci-fi romantic epic, with Ridley and Tony Scott attached to produce. The plot revolves around a man who travels to different Earths and dimensions in order to find his reincarnated lover. Execs are using the magic word — “Avatar” — to describe the scope and otherworldly elements of the script. “Ion” actually made the rounds last year but didn’t take. In the post-”Avatar” Hollywood, however, the script is generating renewed interest. It attracted the interest of the Scott brothers, who helped develop the script further, which then brought in Tatum, who could be one of Hollywood’s next leading men. The whole package raised the mercury even higher.”
What THR didn’t mention (and I can exclusively share with CTU Readers) is that Chan is not only attached to star in ‘Ion’, but he and his production partner Reid Carolin (’Stop-Loss‘, ‘Earth Made of Glass‘) are also producing the film through their 33andOut shingle, which is a HUGE accomplishment for them. As you can imagine, Chan is really excited about this project, although its going to be a while before it really gets started.
Deadline Hollywood had this to add…
“The spec in play is Ion, a Will Dunn scifi script that has Channing Tatum attached, with Scott Free producing. Fox 2000 (Scott Free’s home studio) has made an offer, but other studios are circling…It would be the first sale for Dunn, a British scribe, who has spent the past half year honing the material with input from Scott Free and Tatum.”
I feel like I’m starting to sound like a broken record as I extol Chan’s amazingly hot career, but honestly, talented people who work hard and stay grateful and humble deserve this kind of success. I’m so glad to see it happening for Chan so quickly. CONGRATS to CHAN, REID, and 33andOUT!!!

What’s next for Jenna?
