Channing Tatum Heads Back to the States to Begin Filming ‘Son of No One’

After wrapping up the UK leg of the ‘Dear John’ press tour, Channing Tatum headed back to the states on March 31st to start working on his next project (crime thriller ‘Son of No One‘) in New York City. Fans can check out some new pics of Chan leaving London’s Soho hotel on March 31st in a comfy Life/After/Denim hoodie and in New York on April 2nd where he’s currently preparing to start shooting ‘Son of No One‘ on April 5th.
THR is reporting another casting update for the film. Here’s what they had to say about the two new additions…
“James Ransone and Jake Cherry are joining the cast of the Nu Image/Millennium Films’ Channing Tatum crime drama “Son of No One.”…about a young cop (Tatum) assigned to police his old working-class neighborhood, is shooting in New York and stars Al Pacino, Katie Holmes [reportedly plays Chan’s wife], Ray Liotta, Tracy Morgan and Juliette Binoche. Dito Montiel (”Fighting”) wrote the script and is directing. Ransone is playing Tatum’s police partner; Cherry is playing Tatum as a child. Ransone, repped by Paradigm and Magnolia Entertainment, is best known for starring in HBO’s “Generation Kill” and for his stint on HBO’s “The Wire.” Cherry, repped by Gersh and Leverage Management, has appeared in the “Night at the Museum” films. He has roles in the upcoming Weinstein Co. romantic comedy “The Rebound” and the Disney summer release “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”"
‘Son of No One‘ is currently scheduled to be released some time in 2011.
