Watch the New International Trailer for Channing Tatum’s ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra’

As I previously tweeted on Chan’s official Twitter, the international trailer for Channing Tatum’s upcoming action film ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ is supposed to be officially released online tomorrow. Since it’s already tomorrow in France, US fans get to see the trailer a bit early, since it’s been released on the French movie site Allocine.fr.
In a role that has Chan topping MovieFone.com’s list of summer’s breakout male stars, fans can check him out in the high definition action-packed new trailer I just added to the CTU Youtube Video Channel below. Enjoy!!!
You will also be able to watch the trailer on the big screen when ‘Star Trek‘ hits theaters next Friday (May 8, 2009).
Directed by Stephen Sommers and starring Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Marlon Wayans, Sienna Miller, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rachel Nichols and Ray Park, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ will hit theaters on August 7, 2009 and fans can CLICK HERE to get a current list of international release dates for the film.
New Photos & Video of Jenna Dewan at Screening to Honor ‘RAISE Hope for Congo’

Last week Channing Tatum’s fiancee Jenna Dewan attended a screening for a great cause with her best friend, actress, and activist Emmanuelle Chriqui.
The RAISE Hope for Congo campaign was highlighted at the world premiere of Karen and Kat Kramer’s Screening Series, ‘Films that Changed the World,’ on Saturday, April 18. The series, which seeks to celebrate the empowerment of women, kicked off with a private screening of Barbra Streisand’s groundbreaking film, ‘YENTL.’
RAISE Hope for Congo spokeswoman Emmanuelle Chriqui spoke to the 90 leading entertainment industry women in attendance about the role that activists can play in empowering Congolese women.

People Magazine is now confirming something that we’ve all known for quite a while…
Channing Tatum will be featured in People’s annual “100 Most Beautiful” issue, which hits newsstands this Friday. The magazine just released a sneak peek of 17 of the top 100 beauties on their site today and here’s what they had to say about Chan…

- CHANNING TATUM: He’s had training in martial arts (which he shows off in his new film Fighting), but Tatum says he’s a lover, not a fighter. “I’d probably run, more than likely,” the 29-year-old told WPIX in New York about how he’d react to a throwdown. Then, referring to his starmaking role in the film Step Up, he joked, “Or I’d be like, ‘Wanna dance? Let’s have a dance-off!’”
Christina Applegate was selected as cover girl for the issue which also includes Robert Pattinson (’Twilight’); actress Halle Berry; the cast of “90210″; Zac Efron (’17 Again’); Freida Pinto (’Slumdog Millionaire’); actress and activist Angelina Jolie; and singer Taylor Swift in their list of uber beautiful people.

As I mentioned in a previous post earlier this month, Channing Tatum is featured in the May 2009 issue of Interview Magazine with British actress Emma Watson (star of this summer’s ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’) on the cover.
Fans can read the new article in its entirety below where Chan’s good friend and ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ co-star Marlon Wayans interviews him for the magazine.
If you know anything about Marlon or the Wayans family from which he comes (aka Comedy Royalty), then you should not be surprised at how hilarious this interview is. Chan even talks about some of the cleaner practical jokes they played on the set of ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ that may have left an assistant director a little “salty” (and I’ve been sworn to secrecy on one of the not-so-clean ones that they elude to in the interview). 
Via Marlon’s questions, we find out a lot of new, personal info about Chan. We learn what scares him, what’s his favorite place in the world, what’s his idea of heaven, does he think he could win ‘Dancing with the Stars‘, what’s his slogan in life, who’s his surrogate mom, what he has to say to the past haters in his life and much, much more.
