Today’s awesome Video of the Week was submitted by Mr. Channing Tatum himself!!!
Last time we got a video from Chan, he was updating us from the set of ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra‘ in the Czech Republic. This time, he’s taking us into the friendly skies, but (for some INSANE reason) chooses to ditch a perfectly good plane along the way…
Through military-themed projects like ‘Stop-Loss‘ and ‘Dear John‘, Channing has had the opportunity to meet and make friends with a lot of brave men and women in the armed forces. In this CTU exclusive video we get to see Chan fearlessly perform an AWESOME tandem parachute out of an airplane more than 10,000 feet up in the air and thankfully land safely at the Yuma Proving Ground (aka YPG) in Arizona, which is a test facility for the U.S. Army.
The video (which can be seen in high definition on the CTU Youtube Channel) was taken on February 23, 2009 and in it Chan and his Army instructor Mike jump with the Golden Knights, which is a well-known United States Army Parachute Team. Enjoy!
HUGE thanks to Chan for sending us this amazing video!!!
If you have a favorite video that you would like me to consider, send a link to the video to votw@channingtatumunwrapped.com and tell me why you like it. I will post it and your explanation on the blog.
