NEWS FLASH: New Release Date and Cities for Channing Tatum’s ‘Battle in Seattle’

Thanks to Leigh over at Michelle Rodriguez’s official site we now have specific release information on Channing Tatum’s upcoming drama ‘Battle in Seattle‘ from the distribution company Redwood Palms Pictures.
‘Battle in Seattle‘ is scheduled to have a limited release in the US on September 19, 2008 in New York, Seattle, and San Francisco and releases in Los Angeles on September 26, 2008. I’ve been told that a few more dates and cities will be announced soon.
If you want to see the film in your area, the power is in our collective hands, and we all need to let the film makers know it. CLICK HERE to demand they bring the film to your city!

Hey! This is Cyndi again - the Battle in Seattle intern. I just wanted to thank you again for posting all this stuff about Battle in Seattle. We’re trying SO hard to really get a grassroots effort going - to really gather support and interest in the film. The more people that get involved and show interest, the easier it’s going to be to convince the distribution companies and theaters to get the movie in more cities around the nation. It would be awesome if you would encourage people to also join the facebook group - “Who Controls the World?” There’s also a myspace page. It’s so awesome to see all the people, like yourself, really putting effort into making this happen. I got to see a screening of the movie a few nights ago, and it’s so completely worth it!!! Thanks for everything!

Great to hear from you again! Can you please send me links to the Facebook and MySpace profiles and I will make sure to spread the word. I’m glad you were finally able to see the film and you now know for sure how good it is. I hope that we are able to get it in more cities, because fans are anxious to see it.
